Karan_kool, 19 Nov 2011I Lost its box still I'll confirm the name and I'll let you... moreFirst let me warn you that Flashing is not for faint hearted. People like me had to browse many forums and talk to many guys to finally get the guts to flash. I have flashed my handset more than 100 times by now (been doing this since a couple of years). You need to know a couple of things before flashing your mobile.
1. Every mobile has a unique RM number. For nokia 5233 its RM-625, nokia 5530 xpressmusic its RM-504 etc.
2. For these RM numbers (i.e for each handset model) there are different files that are stored in the ROM of the device. These are the very files that gives a phone its interface, softwares etc. The files of a different RM number can't be flashed into another. Trying is simply futile. Will damage the phone.
3. The process in which the RM related files are inserted or reinserted into the ROM is called flashing.
4. There are a total of 7 files (with different file extensions) that is needed for successful flashing. A couple of these files can be modified by using advanced softwares. Replacing the actual files with the modified ones and then flashing the phone results in a modified phone. The 7 files altogether is called Firmware. With the modified files, its called Custom Firmware i.e CFW.

Register yourself to this forum to get the download links.
After you have understood everything and are ready to use the modified files, tell me. If you know Hindi then you may even call me to 9706458437. The procedure is too long to write.
Download the original files by following the procedure given in the same link above. Download the latest version. As we will replace only a few files from the 7 available, we will need the others. And since different cfw needs different files to be replaced, better download all the original 7 files.
And i hope you still got warranty. Cause if anything goes wrong then it can be freely repaired by going to the nokia service centre. Just don't tell them that you were trying to flash (cause this is what THEY are supposed to do only).

Is a very good phone.i have the 5228 version.it dessapoint to the sound of the loudspeakers,and because it doesn't have 3g and wi-fi,but is a vrey good phone.a phone like 5233 or 5228 costs like 139€ but the price depends to shop.

Latest symbian Belle devices has got best hardware of all nokias. 512MB RAM, 1ghz processor, 128mb VRAM, 1GB Rom etc. So don't even dream of getting their OS updates into our old s60v5 devices.
Do you want Anna like interface? Use a custom firmware then.

hi readers .....5233 was good hand set ...but most problem is hanging problem sond quelty is not good ....camera is so good ....best price nd cheef ..i think ...hand set is good ..but if u wants use internet ...so u dont get this hsndset ....this is copy of 5800 ..is good ...ceamera is good .......|

help plz. i have alot of crack-ed versions of smart movie but nono of them play video more than 1 or 3 hours. after that when try to play smart movie just quits. any one having real crack-ed version plz give. thanks
