I have used this phone for about 6 months, this phone is good. the camera and music player are good. I installed ZX Reader for reading .txt files, and it utilises the screen very well. I have read many novels on this phone in text format. This phone is a really gr8 buy.

it is a eally great phone.. it has all the necessary features requiered for a smart phoe... i really do think that the phone should incorporate a 3G ,5MP camera,dual sim in the coming versions if th phone. it has stylish design which is incorporated in a smart phone witha smArt programm......i love this phone...

guy this is best screen touch phone in range like 6000 rs. nd it is too tough i told u from my porsonal experience. I am using this phone frm 1 year i face only hanging problem in tis device excepted hanging this phone is really nice

First of all the converted file will be huge (around 2GB) and second, its totally unnecessary. A maximum of 1200 kbps is enough to eliminate all kinds of artifacts that happen to show up in complex scenes while using a lower video bitrate settings. Besides, too much bitrate equals to too much pressure on the processor and hence more consumption of battery charge. Depending on what kind of movie you are watching (action, slow paced etc) the bitrate settings can be changed. That is if the movie has very fast action then a bitrate needs to be close to 1000kbps or a bit more. But if the movie is slow paced i.e the scenes don't change too fast then a bitrate of 600kbps is more than enough.
And your codecs are more complex. Use xvid or divx for video and AAC for audio. Xvid or divx falls under h.263 codec which is what this phone supports. Videos of h.264 codec isn't recognised by this phone. And frame rates can go to a max of 30fps. 25 fps isn't bad as anything above 24fps is smooth for human eyes (persistence of sight is 24fps for humans).
Also keep in mind that when converting a video don't try to upscale the resolution to nHD if the original one is less than that. Just keep the video resolution settings to default.

5233 is a good phone. Features are also good. Battery, Camera and also Video is excellent. I am using 8GB micro SD without any problem, it's faster. If u covert DVD movies to mp4 for this phone use video

I suggest all please use it maximum 16 month. Then sell it. Coz after 16 month you may face some problem about Touch Screen.

Phones should never be allowed to freeze under AC or refrigerator (lol). I too live under AC but my phone hasn't shown any of your symtoms. And where do you live? Alaska??? Cause our winter doesn't make my phone's screen go numb.

You speak high about capacitive touchscreens, that too at this price range. Let me tell you that the life span of a capacitive screen is way less than a resistive one and unless you are buying an expensive device, the capacitive touchscreen will surely die within 2 years.
Oh btw, when you tell us about your kind of phone please make sure that it has screen resolution of more than 640x360 i.e nHD and a size greater than 3.2 inches. Do it quick, I am waiting.
