The real advantage is for the modders as they will get much free space in it and lot of modes can be added. So in practice we will get a better cfw than before.
Better gallery mods,scrolling mods ,battery mods ,s^3 like mods ,n8 like icon packs etc are available and everything can be added. Obviously it will result in a faster phone that you can see in blaze.
(you can open this rofs2 with NFE and at the right bottom corner ,u can see the partition size and free space )
Btw, if you installed ovi maps in blaze ,pls tell me how you did it .

So in effect, nothing is actually missing instead everything is compacted onto a single rofs2 file. Does this have any significant influence on the phone's performance?

if u people can do anything to speed up this celeron,then why not get a better fone?..todays fone have 1Ghz+ processors even lg optimus one can easily outperform this oldie..simply don't waste time go get a job(and obviously a better fone)!!!!!

Generally, the core files contains rofs1+rom+uboot.
The general rule is that rofs3 overwrites rofs2 which in turn overwrites rofs1 . (to put it in simple )
The c6 port was made in such a way that they removed rofs1 from the core and placed rofs3 in that place. That is why we are not using any rofs3 with c6 core since it is already there. But the c6 rofs2 should contain rofs1 and rofs2.
So to include rofs1 files we extract the whole original core files (as for common modders it is a hard job to extract only rofs1 from it. )and rofs2 to the empty c6 rofs2.
In short the c6 'core' contains rofs3+rom+uboot. And the rofs1 and rofs2 are packed as the c6 rofs2. Editing or putting any files in this pack is safe as they are not used as the core files.

I mean having rofs2 and core in the same C6 rofs2 would allow us to tinker with the core files as well right and if by any means something was to go wrong then that would brick our phones right?

If you don't need 3G and GPS service then this is the best phone for you I think. After buying check your software (Dial *#0000#) If you not see the version 40.1.003 then please update your software soon. The headset given with this phone is not very good quality. If you not satisfy with this headset then please buy WH-701 model headset with music controller. The sound quality will be louder and fresh with this headset. Hope you will enjoy this phone like me :)

hi mates. i am going to flash with catalyst^2. i wana ask that what will happen to languages installed in defult firnware. urdu is installed and i dnt wnt it be removed after flashing as i need it in my dictionary. what to do if urdu got removed in cfw?waiting for ur replies
