Btw i just did the lyrics experiment as Sidewinder told and i have to say that nokia has finally done something useful to us. Also found another cool feature. We can drag (or scroll) the lyrics which in turn brings a line in between the screen showing the time that we scrolled upto and when done scrolling, the song plays from that exact same position. This feature i saw in Ttpod 4.0 but realised now that it was actually an inovation by nokia (for s60v5).

Anyways, great job figuring out the lyrics thingy. I though .lrc wasn't supported. So, i didn't even pay any attention to get it working.
Yes, the best way to download .lrc is TTPOD. I am using the 4th version as it has an optimised touchscreen interface. The visualisation also works much faster. Its a resource hog though. Is more that 2 times heavier than v3.7. But its best part is its better mini player and mini lyrics. They are much stable now. Also found a new skin in M9. Check out the first 5 or so pages.
About 'vHome' app. Its full name is 'Voyager home'. Voyager has two varients, one is vHome and one is vMenu. You got a bit confused there. I use ndesk for menu and vHome for homescreen. Not using now as ndesk is enough to get to my apps faster. Voyager is yet to reach the speed of ndesk. If only there was an option to decrease the 7 Homescreen panes of vHome to just one. Cause except for the first page, which is the real homescreen, the others are just for filling up with shortcuts. This funtionality is already available with ndesk. So why need two such side scrollable kinds. Resources matter, doesn't it.

AnonD-1647, 18 Feb 2011Well i really liked c6 unleashed but its got bugs i think i... moreAdding theme effects to the cfw is easy. You can do it in two ways.
(1)extract your rofs2 using nokia firmware editor.Delete the effects folder in resource . Place your new effects folder there. Repack the rofs2 and flash with it.
(2)the second method is what i recommend . In this method you can use your phone for adding theme effects and easily change theme without flashing. Here are the steps
(a)Install c2z maker app in your phone. Generate c2z patch using it. Add this patch to rom patcher. Now enable this patch to auto start. Also enable 'open for all 'patch in rom patcher.
(b)Now open xplore app or any other file browser app. Go to z:>resource>skins>101f84b9. Copy this file. Paste this 101f84b9 file to c:>resource>skins. Make the directory if it is not there.
(c)Place the new effects that you want to use, in the path c:>resource. Make sure that the name of the folder is 'effects'.Now you can exit xplore.
(d)Now go to settings >themes >general . From options, turn theme effects to 'on'. If it is already on, make it off and again 'on'.
Now you can see the theme effects applied. If you are using c6 based cfw, you can see amazing effects even in auto rotation of the phone.

The only reason I tried it was just to know what the hype behind it was all about but in the end it ended in disappointment for me. It lacked a lot of features and I was forced to sacrifice functionality for looks. That is why I reverted back to using the original firmware. I got tired of it after using it for a week or two. C6 has a cool homescreen but I can get an even cooler HS using vMenu. The builtin photo browser is fast and smooth but still Resco photoviewer is even better. The only thing that I miss abot C6 fw is smart dialing. The reason I like katalyst^2 is because of it's simplicity. It doesn't come with all the unnecessary crapware that I'm probably not going to use. So I have the option to install whatever I wan on my phone. Most firmwares do lack this flexibility. Inbuilt apps in firmware cannot be removed or updated so unfortunately you're stuck with whatever version you have.
I tried modding Revenge^6 firmware once. I successfullt managed to patch the music library but not everything wen well for me. I also tried modding the default menu Icons of katalyst by replacing the default one's with the one I copied from Revenge but to no avail. Everything went haywire and didn't workout the way I planned it to. I guess we all need a better understanding of the inner workings to trace the problem.

Guys I want to share with you another cool app that I found very recently. It's the best homescreen app by far. The app is calle Voyager vMenu. For those who are familiar with N-desk, the side scrollable menu is kind of similar to n-desk but here the HS and menu are all integrated into a single side scrollable screen. The homescreen is cool as well. The UI looks like a cross between HTC sense and that of iphone.
In addition, the app is completely free. I introduced it to my bro and he liked it at the first sight.

Well i flashed my fw to c6 tribute from c6 unleashed..isnt very happy with itim not sure why..maybe its the theme effects..how do i copy the theme effects to my cfw?i tried doing it, copying in the rsource folder and all, dodent work..there is also no skins folder, i manually made one and added the contents..but still not working..tribute seems so good to me..there are many things removed like show open apps, i used to like that feature but beacuse of a new mod is out now..even the ttpod and photobrowser are oudated dunno how to add ttpod 4 in the music menu.help on that too please...and now im thinking of reverting back to c6 unleashed but some things are keeping me behind..like brightness could be only till40% heard theres a mod for that,but dont know how to install that..id like to update the apps too..and i also realised for some reason,apps used to abruptly close,m not sure if its a ram issue..so sb, side(ggod to have u back), utk help me out..on what to do..should i revert back to c6 unleashd?

You must be fee... moreYes mate the lyrics did work on the default music player but only the latest update of the music player has lyrics support. You either have to update the firmware to the latest version or you can just install the music player update separately like I did. Sb sent me the latest music player so he might know better.

Oh finnal after what seems like a life time my exams are over. Missed you all guys especially Sb, utk n all others.
In the mean time, I finally managed to get the lyrics thing work on my 5233 default player. I was experimenting a bit with a lot of .lrc lyric files that i already had. Nothing seemed to work so i copied each file and pasted it to the directory containing the mp3's and made sure that the file name of mp3 matches the lyric file. I refreshed my library again and to my surprise, this time around the lyrics were displayed scrolling in sync with the song. It even highlights the text corresponding to the line of the song. Another cool feature is that the display never goes dim unless you lock the phone or hide the lyrics.
I used the latest version of TTPOD courtest of Sbdevilmind to download the lyrics automatically.

Earpiece and mic are superb.While recording videos,it captures even extremely low sound. Battery will last for two days with normal usage. Music is amazing if you use a good pair of ear phones.No distortions.
