novice, 06 Jan 2011hi. Today i found flash lite 4.xx. In our device flash 3 is... moreThe error you are getting isn't because the file is heavy, its because of the video codec. Nokia 5233 supports .flv videos if the video specifications are as follows,
1. The codec: Nowadays the codec 'h.264' is used inside the flv container. 5233 doesn't support this. But it supports the codec 'h.263'. h.263 has lower complexity compared to h.264 and hence is the better option to encode videos in higher bitrate. A 500kbps h.264 video requires the same amount of processing power that can run a 2000kbps h.263 codec video. Believe me, this mobile can easily handle heavy videos provided its codec is h.263 (divx and xvid codec falls under h.263). As i have encoded and played a .flv video with 2mbps video bitrate, the video being of around 4min but the size being a whopping 50 mb(approx). No lags whatsoever.
2. The resolution: Any resolution under VGA i.e 640x480 is playable in this device. But i recommend using 640x360 as it fills the whole screen. The former being of 4:3 aspect ratio leaves two wide blank spaces on either sides. The latter is of 16:9 aspect ratio (which is the aspect ratio of 5233's nHD screen).
Note: the thing i told about aspect ratio holds for the flash player only. As it doesn't have the option to manually adjust the aspect ration as in real player.
And no, flash lite 4 isn't installable right now. Maybe in future but considering the hardware requirements of flash lite 4(known as Adobe flash 10), 5233 falls short. I wasn't able to install it either although i found this file more than a month ago.

hi. Today i found flash lite 4.xx. In our device flash 3 is preinstalled. So i downloaded and when tried to install it says unable to install component is builin. May cell is unable to play heavy flash videos saying system error. Now is there any method to install flash4 player?

But one thing i am sure is that most of the apps are to be signed if you want to install it. Orange tsunami,ttpod etc can be installed only when you properly sign it.
You cant enjoy the potential of this phone if you cry for signed versions. Trust me i successsfully installed all these apps simply signing with free signer.
But you cant install apps like rom patcher or codec pack by this method. For that you must use a cfw which is pre hacked.
In your case try using a different version of free signer .
Now i am thinking to upload some screen shots of signing methods since most of the guys use original firmware . And surely post the links of that screen shots here.
Anyways thanks for suggesting that game . Nice to play.

Get it from s60certkey.c... moreman...... i know this process. that's why i asked for a SIGNED VERSION !!!!
btw if i give the imei of another 5233 or any other model will the cert & key work with my phone?

Get it from s60certkey.com.Then paste them to the sign sis and sign key of free signer.
In free signer ,select 'sign sis '. And then select 'Go'. Exit free signer .
Browse to the location of your file and you can see 2files -signed and unsigned . Select the signed one and install.

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2011listen to what i say --sign it !!!!mate... i used free signer first. there i used self sign option with free signer's cert & key first. not worked. later tried to sign with sis editor. lastly used sign option in free signer selecting self sign cert/key & bindpa cert/key. same result. not working.

Btw, just checked in my friend's phone here and it worked. He uses original firmware.
