Sarosh, 22 Dec 2010hey both 5233 and 5230 are pretty much the same i don't nee... moredude since u dnt need gps den i suggest u go for 5233, coz d only difference between 5233 n 5230 is gps. Rest everythng is same sound,video n camera quality. n i jus bought 5233 last week its a fantastic fone. n if u dnt mind shelling a 1000 bucks more go for c5. small but amazin fone. tc gud luck

hey both 5233 and 5230 are pretty much the same i don't need 3g or gps, so what would be better for me.

My requirments:

1. Good touch with kinetic scrolling and tactile feedback ( specially msg and web )
2. Good video quality ( i watch movies )
3. Great audio quality
4. overall nice design
5. 2-3 days battery life
6. Fast performence, no lags..
7. Normal camera for everyday use

i could also consider 5800 but from above what would be better 5233 or 5230 or 5800 ??

normally 1-2 hours from total empty.

i use a normal rexin type cover those are mostly used by everyone cost only 20 INR. you may use those total-cover with magnetic lid types made of leathery materials. cost around 500 INR.

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2010nice video.guys,if you follow the link below it you can see... moreAt first you may get the impression that changing effects is tough. But, once you get past the initial few steps, ie, the part where you have to create a c2z patch, it becomes almost as easy as changing theme.
I have around 60 theme effects in my memory card and I change them according to my mood.

This method requires you to have a fully hacked phone(CFW is must).

You can also add theme effects by editing the rofs2 or rofs3 with the help of Nokia Firmware Editor. Editing rofs3 is preferred as rofs3 overwrites rofs2.
Extract rofs with NFE
Open resource folder, paste the 'effects' folder from the theme effects you want to use. Overwrite effects folder if it's already present in rofs3. Repack and flash with the edited rofs3 instead of original one.

This method can be used with CFWs and also with OFWs(hacked phone not required).

Some effects are specifically coded for C6 like platform(C6, N97, N97mini etc), so they may not work with 5233 based OFW/CFWs.
