Sbdevilmind, 13 Dec 2010Hey guys, i got myself a Sennheiser PMX60 from a friend who... moreHmmm... that a great buy mate... 500 is very reasonable. Just last week I had a chance to try it out (my friend got it for free when he purchased his 5800). Tried it with line out mode and the sound quality was amazing. I also did an audio comparison of his 5800 with my 5233 with the same EQ preset and same track. Honestly I liked the sound signature of my 5233 more. The simple reason being though 5800 sounded a bit more warmer and I guess a tad bit louder, just as expert audio reviewers have pointed out, it sounded a bit tinny on his PMX-60 but with my 5233 the audio sounded a bit more natural.
Another advantage in having a full sized headphone like PMX-60 is that the stereo widening effects are a bit more pronounced and less harsh than on a pair of earphone. I really enjoyed listening to music with stereo widening turned on. The only downside I think is the ridiculously long cord and the extra bit of weight. Not good if you have the habit of carrying it around.

Panky, 13 Dec 2010where to get this Forst Codec for 5233 ?Mate it comes with the Audio codec pack 1.8 for nokia phones. The codec pack can be found in dailymobile.se or just search google. You'll need a hacked fw to install the codec.

Side and utk are definately the guys for this review.
There are many high quality headphones in this world but it doesn't mean that we aim to buy ones whose price itself is 10 times the price of the phone. Some of the best headphones producers are Ultimate Ears, Shure, Altec Lancing, Sennheiser etc. Philips is considered an underdog in this category but it has produced great products as the She9800(budget wise).

He just got himself an expensive headphone and was thinking of getting rid of this. Since i was a close friend, he even though of giving it for free but i didn't want to. (it would have looked bad, wouldn't it.)

Hey guys, i got myself a Sennheiser PMX60 from a friend who bought it about a couple of weeks ago. Its in perfect condition. What luck!!!
Its got great sound quality. Superb clarity. Though the Bass is lower than i usually prefer. Its got good surround effect too (All these in normal equaliser settings). In short, i am very happy with it. And the main reason i am rejoicing is because i am getting this 2200INR headphone for just 500INR. Yahoo.......

If you lose the bill then too the warranty exists but only a year from the date of manufacture. This date of manufacture can be detected by the nokia personals by using the imei and crosschecking with nokia official website. But since there is quite a gap between manufacture date and purchase date, so the end warranty period lessens a lot.
                                      Hence, keep the bill safe.

Have you checked out it's frequency response curve published by gsmarena? Heck, it cant reproduce low and high frequencies properly. OMG, what is that huge drop in output after 10KHz? Hmm... That means it can give good output for only half range of the audible frequency spectrum. That's pathetic, don't you think so. Hey, did I mention that distortion + noise level are approximately 30 times higher :-P
