Mr. Offtopic , 28 Nov 2010Which is the most encrypted mobile operating system?Friend, i am not a OS maker .But here are some points that i collected.
Symbian security model is the most secure in the industry. It starts with the hardware. All modern Symbiam phones contain a chip level, hardware accelerated AES encryption engine which can encrypt and decrypt large data sets on the fly without impacting the user experience. The Symbian boot loader is encrypted.  As the device is powered up the hardware engine decrypts the boot loader and verifies that it has not been tampered with.  Similarly, the Symbian OS image is  encrypted and has to be decrypted and verified before the OS can be loaded. The hardware encrypted boot loader and OS image mean we will probably never see an alternate OS like Linux or Android running on a Symbian device. .On top of hardware and OS security lies Platform Security.  Symbian apps must be signed with an encrypted certificate and Java apps may be. Signing guarantees that the app has not been tampered with and there are different certificates  that rant  varied levels of access to device capabilities. The  certificates that allow access to the most privileged APIs are only available to Nokia, device manufacturers, mobile operators and other trusted partners.  While it's true that Platform Security in older Symbian phones has been hacked to grant  unsigned apps access to privileged capabilities,  doing so has required physical access to the device.Lost or stolen phones can also potentially result in identity theft and disclosure of personal, financial and corporate secrets. Symbian offers users and device administrators several ways to protect sensitive information if a device goes astray.  All E-Series phones since the E71  let the user encrypt the contents of device memory and the SD card  using the same hardware accelerated encryption engine that protects the OS and boot loader. Decryption of data of data occurs on the fly as needed and is transparent to applications and the user. All E-Series and most N-Series phones also support  remote device locking.  Provided the user has enabled remote locking in advance, a lost or stolen can be locked by sending a text message containing the secret lock cod.Theres more on Symbian security onnokia.com. including a detailed securitywhite paper(PDF).

Mr. Offtopic , 28 Nov 2010Which is the most encrypted mobile operating system? How am i supposed to know. I didn't make the operating systems, lol. Anyways, encryptions has nothing to do with making operating systems. Your question itself is wrong, dude.

india, 28 Nov 2010faster than 3G? lol :PSo are you saying that this phone has 3G in it. So, why are you posting nonsense with a tongue hanging out. When i say fastest in this phone, i mean the maximum speed attainable by the hardware of this device. As for the best opera mini part, i mean that its better than its java counterpart which definately has a slower user interface (as it depends on java runtime).

guest, 28 Nov 2010i don't know what is happening to mobile companies no phone... moreYou can't really say that. There are many perfect phones in this world. Provided you buy one following your needs. 5233 is perfect for me as i don't need advanced features. If you need advanced features then invest more, decide better and you will end up with the perfect phone. Android is the best OS in terms of power and user interface. It is open source and has a very rich company backing it up (google). 2011 will show many devasting blows that symbian will get. 2010 has been worst for them. No other company other than nokia uses symbian now. Samsung (second biggest phone manufacture after nokia) publicly surrendered symbian this year. Symbian can never improve. Its days have passed. The applications can't handle high speed cpu and the OS and available apps are restricting the screen resolution. Also, making symbian apps is a nightmare for developers. Android apps are the easiest to make.
Whatever i said above is true for high end category of phones. Symbian will always rule the lower end smartphone market for many years to come. And in my opinion, symbian is the most experienced and most complete smartphone OS in this world.
If you want the best phone, Forget iphone cause it isn't a complete OS as symbian. Forget symbian, as it doesn't have the oomph factor. Windows 7 devices is too new to be actually called real smartphones. Blackberry is useless for youth, only for business. So high end android devices will suffice your needs, for now. Android will become as perfect as symbian after about 2 years or so. Till then the most widely used smartphone OS will be symbian.
In the end, the end-user experience and their verdict is what will decides the true ruler.
Btw, the way you commented, i hope you do know what is a smartphone and their capabilities. Cause if i were you, i would never say that there isn't a perfect phone in todays world.
