justbought5233, 08 Nov 2010hello bharath. would you plz try out SHQ-1000 and share you... morei ve never used the model which u told me...... if u r willling to go for philips in that category u can use SHH4520(http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=SHH4520/94&scy=in&slg=en) which was being provided with nokia 5130.... but i cant assure that u would be satisfied by it.... the sound quality is just above avg and the bass is not that good...... if u want bass in such kind of earphones try sony..... i ve used sony mdr-e818lp(http://www.sony.co.in/product/mdr-e818lp) which is good........

Hello, I have bought this mobile recently and it is good but hangs often when i go to maps and others sometimes. please help me on this. Also i am new to such phones. let me know whether is it fine to install themes and applications from sites other than ovi store. suggest me the sites that are accepted by Nokia phones since it shows messages like not recommended.

Hey guys, I updated my firmware to '21.1.102'.
Tried out 'Nokia Envy' and 'Katalyst^2'. Envy failed to impress me much even though it's a lot similar to Katalyst^2. But Katalyst^2 is really good. It's missing a lot of goodies(some of them not needed) that come along with other CFWs but that's something I can easily install and that too according to my needs.. Transition effects are pretty similar to 'Revenge^6 speed type 2'. Rotation transition effect is pretty boring btw.

Bro, you think EP-630 is good. You should really try out some of these Philips IEMs, EP-630 would have it's *** kicked all over the place. Best Philips IEM is SHE9850, costs around 5K MRP and it can make some of the single driver 'shures' make a run for their money (according to reviewers, never got the opportunity to test them myself).

No matter how much bass the mx470 creates, it will disappear or at least tend to disappear since it has no isolation at all. The same goes for the shq1000. I had an exact looking headphone(philips shh 4520) whose written price was 1200inr, still it produced crappy sound(no bass, very very high treble and mids). So, no matter what, always go for inear headphones. The best is philips she9800, its expensive, so i think you should go for philips she3580. I have experienced the sound quality of creative ep630 and believed it to be quite good but when bharat said that he found differences in their sounds and gave a positive verdict on philips, so she3580 has to be much better. And the price is too good. Cause if you happen to dislike the sound, the loss won't be much but if after buying any of the other headsets and feel the same way, then you will lose a lot. Believe me, cause even after the product description of shh4520 had 'Thumping Bass' written, there was NO bass at all, because it wasn't inear. But if you happen to press the headphones very tightly to your ears canals, then you might hear some bass, but at that close proximity, the treble will kill you.
Now its upto you to decide.

That someon... morehello sb. today found out another great headphone...SENNHEISER MX-470. its easily available in india. price is 1100 INR. it has LIVE BASS system. all over the net it scores a 9 out of 10 in reviews. would you plz do some handwork over the keyboard for me about PHILIPS SHQ-1000 & SENNHEISER MX-470 & suggest the better one? plz plz plz..

I have... morei tried both ep-630 and philips.... the bass in ep-630 was not that accurate, muddy and the highs sounded a bit unrealistic it tend to alter the sound...... but in philips the bass extension is good and the sound does nt seem to alter....... the clarity is pretty good but u might find the mids to be a bit low...... but superb pair of earbuds for the price tag.....

A file stored or installed will lead to a decrease in phone memory. So it is a good practice to store or install anything in your memory card. Sis or jar, a file can work only after its installation. Antivirus must be installed in phone memory .

Sis files are useless when stored, only after installation, they start to work. You are confused between sis applications in symbian smartphone and java (.jar) applications in java only mobiles like nokia s40 devices.
Although its true that installing antivirus like applications in phone memory is good but that is just a fact. I haven't experienced any differences.

More free the phone memory, more safer and faster will be your device. Try making separate folder for applications. This way you won't have to search frantically for the applications.
