Some of the things you MUST follow.

        1) Go through the description posted by the creator very carefully(you would have known about the music folder tweak and the problems associated with 9HS).
        2) Before flashing...connect your phone in mass storage mode and delete sys, system, private and resource folders.
        3) After starting your phone up for the first time wait for a while, then hard reset.
        4) Once the phone starts up after hard reset, wait for a couple of minutes. This is very important and failing to do so will result in a buggy firmware. So wait until the "vodaphone HS" becomes active.

Although i haven't experienced any case of excessive heating. I think you are mistaking your body heat on the phone as overheating.

Jithin, 03 Nov 2010Yaar...i bought this phn 2 weeks ago....now my battery is d... moreWhen you are about to keep you phone idle, just hold the middle button i.e the menu button to bring up the task manager. Make sure that there are only 2 icons. If more than those, then it means that something is running in the background. If you have no idea what they are then just hold the icons and wait for the option to exit. This way exit all the running applications. The two icons i mentioned earlier are that of menu and homescreen which you can't exit.
Anyways, you can't expect to run this phone through a whole week without charging. It needs full charging once 2-3 days depending on its usage. In my case, i always keep it plugged to the charger whenever i keep it idle.

sachin, 03 Nov 2010Ya its store in phone memory. Now tell me how to delet this... moreI haven't found any good uninstalling application except for netqin.
I forgot to mention something the last time. So this time, open netqin and go to 'running processes'. Then find your way through the option and select the option to show all running processes including system processes. Then you will see a huge list of running processes with extensions .exe or .sis. Now, search through the list untill you find the name of that application. Then goto option and end it. Then try uninstalling using the method i mentioned in my last post.

                        E:/sounds/my music
This way, no ringtones or recordings will be put into your media player song list. Its a very efficient feature. So, just move your music folder into the above address.

To find that out, just go to installed application option in settings and look for the symbol at the right side of the name. If no symbol then its installed in phone memory. If a memory card like symbol then its in memory card. For the former case, a simple system reset will do. But if its the latter than you are on for a long journey here, my friend. Just hope its installed in phone memory.
