a very good handset i've ever seen.
records hd video with 3000kbps and 30 frames per second.
even in cinema's you can only see 24 frames.

[deleted post]I can give you steps on how to hack an N8 or N900. Or how about porting Android OS into N900(get rid of the buggy Meamo)? Sounds interesting.. doesn't it?
Bottom line is... it doesn't matter whether a phone is cheap or expensive. IT CAN BE HACKED. And people will always find ways to enhance the performance further.
It's the same reason why most people overclock their Intel core i7, graphics cards and even RAMs.
If you are too chicken to mess with your phone then that's fine, so be it. That's your choice.
As for tampering with Symbian OS. Anyone with the know how is free to do that, it's open source and free.

symbian means hanging.nokia5233 means symbian handicapped.when made cheap, it came to the dirty hands of hackers.shameless creatures gives advice on hacking and overclocking in public forums.show them ways to jail.Nokia should give good items in the hands of good people who respects their software.

Very good phone!! Low price touch screen phn, with good features,touch sensivity also good,with a good internet!!,good battery life.a very good display.and the most impressive thing is that it runs with a symbian os,but the ram is a little bit low,which affects the performance a little bit.i thnk every1 with a budget of 6000-6500 should go for this fone!!

1... moreSome brief answers to your questions,
1. Quick office installs perfectly in this set. Remember, all softwares meant for s60v5 is supported in this set, provided they don't require any hardwares like compass, gps or web camera. Although the softwares that require these hardwares will install and run without any issue but the won't be of any use.
2. If you are asking about this phone's speed in running applications then its the same as n97 or x6 or any other symbian^1 device i.e s60v5. Although its worth noting that the responsiveness of java programs are less than that of symbian applications. This difference is easily notable when using opera mobile and opera mini. The former being symbian is very fast but the latter being java is comparatively slow.( the speed mentioned here is of the application's responsiveness, not the internet speed)
3. It depends on what type of games you play. Graphics intensive games will be too slow. Although all nokia phones are not meant for serious gaming. Only the newly released symbian^3 phones are ideal for graphics intensive gameplay, as they have got graphics chip. Still, there are thousands of games that can be played in this mobile perfectly. For example, raging thunder and all other polarbit games. 2d java games are also perfectly playable in this mobile.

What i get fr... moreIts nt necessary to hard reset ur phn unless it creates problems like sl0w performance,hanging,virus prblms etc.if u want to give hard reset 1st u should create a backup of phn mem0ry.after hard reseting s0me applicati0ns might nt w0rk which was installed.
