The app file browser is in mobile 9.But it is not for gentlemen .Only hacked phones shows some interest for it.I tried to install the signed one and got a quick rejection.

Unlike the phone's default file browser where moving files, no matter the size, takes only a couple of seconds, this software takes ages for larger files. The reason is simple. The phone's file browser simply changes the folder or file's address while this software copies the files one by one and then delete the original once its done moving. So when you move a file, say 100mb, you will have to make sure you have 200 mb free space left. Cause once the file moving proceeds to end, the original file plus the copied file becomes double the size.
So, do your 'file-moving' business through the phone's default browser.

Although you will have to let go the 'looking-good' requirement of yours. Although you will have to extend your budget to 7000 inr to get hold of a 4gb memory card. Although 8gb is a much better option but that will increase the amount to 7.5k. Believe me, if you are a wannabe mobile enthusiast, then this device with symbian smartphone os is the thing for you.

Multimedia messages take couple of hundred times more space than a regular text message. Also make sure you don't leave any items received through bluetooth to stay in the inbox. Just open them, save them and delete them. If you have 2500 text messages then they will take not more than 3mb space. Each text message is around 1kb size.
I highly recommend you to use memory card as the storage space of messages. This way, they are much safer with no question of getting deleted due to software update or maybe a firmware repair. You also get to receive much larger files through bluetooth as the files are being saved to memory card, not the low memory phone storage which limits you to file sizes of the mere remaining phone memory which is only around 30mb in average.

i want to purchase a mobile phone either of samsung or nokia within the range of max 6500. please suggest me which is better option and also modei no. i m much interested in look,music,camera,and applications that the mobile supports

I think the phn memory decrease is due to large amount of txt msgs.... without installing any apps my phone memry decreased by 20 mb & i think it may be due to 2500 msgs in my phn memry.....Is thr any soln without setting the storage to mmc ????

Hi,in my 5233, 42mb of phone memory is occupied by 'others' as said by file manager. I opened other folder but found nothing. Searched the rest of the folders also for the same result.where to search for the missing 42mb?Can anybody suggest a good app which can show complete minute details of memory usage including hidden files ?

I don't want to update my phone into a crappy FW and get stuck with it for life. As you already know nokia has not released a FW for 5130 for over 6 months now. I think the only new feature of the latest firmware is a faster UI speed. Which is useless for people like me, sb or sidewinder. We are using customised firmware which is many times faster than original along with other features. Try revenge^6 CFW, it's awesome. I'll update when revenge^7 is available.
