Download 100mb file in 7hours! with dloading speed of only 4 KB/ps compared to 3.5G with only 15 minutes. now you know, its too late to regret .

download any youtube video of your choice in flv format to ur mobile,
Click on that flash video ie flv file. Flash player will start playing that video. It was playing perfectly well even without the current update.
So from now on no statements like 5233 cant play flv videos...ho ho har har.

With my phone no problems with touch so far. I feel it oversensitive when i use SPB shell or operamini browser.A careless mild touch may open another link or another app.I even looked for a setting to reduce the touch sensitivity.I would have thrown the phone away if the touch response is not good .It is one of the best in its class.The screen rotation sensor is also oversensitive that i turns it off sometimes.

Response is fast. Ie faster than before. Typing response is faster especially in landscape. Web browser too has improved. Certain pages not being produced correctly earlier now are produced ok. browser appears faster. menu transistions appear faster. Some people having prob with time changing. That is corrected .

Go to Applications>Location>Positioning>Positioning Methods>network based.

shane, 16 Oct 2010Utk,if not mistaken 5233 doesnt have a ambient light sensor... moreLight sensor is unnecessary for a device that doesn't have flash or any keyboard to write letters with. So, its pretty obvious that this device can never have any light sensor. It would be rendered useless.

shane, 16 Oct 2010is d new firmware a gud one?m using v21..is v22 gud>any bugs?Actually, i haven't updated my phone. The reason is that i am too attracted to the custom firmware i am using. Besides, i don't think this update is major one. Although, if any newer CFW is made on this firmware, then surely i will update it. And the most important thing of all is- suppose you updated your phone, But after that you won't be able to install any of the present CFWs which are based on the previous firmware. Trying is futile as it will be like trying to downgrade your phone. That might result in the worst case scenario of bricking the phone. So, i suggest the guys who are using custom firmwares to wait for the updated CFWs. I will do that. Just be patient, i don't want you all to face the dilemma that i and utk faced after updating to a certain version of the firmware on our nokia 5130. We are still suffering. The music player takes more than 5 seconds to change tracks.
Don't worry, this will never happen in this phone. Its a smartphone after all.

BaaZziGaR, 16 Oct 2010hieeeee..guyz i hv b0ught diz f0ne.. d black 0ne... it... moreDo the latest fw update.Use operamini(not opera mobile).Try bolt browser also.Defalt browser is a full browser,not a simple wap browser.Will take time to get used to it.Since the phone treates each opened page as an application ,you have to close all apps for smooth browser operation.Keep sufficient amount of phone memory also..Cannot agree with the case of touch.Touch response is excellent.
