My nokia 2730 ring tone is even louder than this. I bought N5233 last week and its nice to use. Video is 30fps which is better than N6303i which comes at 8fps. Picture not that great. Go and buy Nokia 5233 if you are a guy, I presumed. But for girls Samsung Genoa or corby or lindy will do.

SidewindeR, 15 Aug 2010Hi bro... i won't say the camera is top class but one thing... moreA lot of people can't take this comment about the 5230/5233's camera at times being better than 5800 (especially 5800 owners) based on the fact that they think that a 3.2MP cam will have better pics than a 2MP cam. A lot of these people don't understand that the difference is the resolution.
anyway the 5800 being a Carl Zeiss lens is quite puzzling. Even here in the Philippines, local symbian and phones forum have owners of 5800 saying the 5230/5233's cam produces better pics than their 5800.
Expect walkman to post an opposing argument. hehe

I had a sign of relief when you said that its picture quality is good, especially the noise level being low. Many people think that higher MP would give higher quality picture which is not always correct. Another aspect i like about this phone is its video capturing capability. Its awesome. Very good resolution, frame rate is 30 fps and the quality too is good. I have used one of my friend's 5230 which has the exact same camera. Thats how i knew about the video recording being so good. It is same, right?. Another thing. Does the latest retail package of this phone has any microSD free. Cause if not, then i will have to include the price of a microSD card to my budget before buying. Probably a minimum of 4gb will do.

The loudspeaker volume is kind of low but it is just a small price to pay for the superb audio quality through the earphones provided you use quality headphones. And about the hanging problems, it solely depends on how you use the phone. With the latest firmware update, the phone is overall more stable and does not hang. But it does restart however at times but not often. After the v21 update hanging and restarts are quite rare and in addition, if you want you can use modded firmware which makes you phone even faster.
