Panky, 07 Aug 2010any specific change log for V23 ?, currently i m using V22 mod.Yep quite a noticeable few changes.
The default search folder for music library changed from e:\Sounds\My Music to e:\Music to make it easier to sync with media player and OVI player.
The dialer and call screen now supports loandscape mode and the accelerometer response time has been reduced by a slight bit.
The keypad backlight has been reintroduced on request
Latest version also comes with Pocket sensor app pre installed in addition to pocket lock and a lot of ROM patches have been included already in the ROM patcher app.
Some of them include patches to keep the backlight turned on, and the double tap delay while typing in alphanumeric mode has been reduced from 1sec to .5sec which is very handy for speedy texting.
Another patch changes the config of the power button. Now long press of the power button restarts the phone.
It is more stable than V22 and no restart issues for me yet... A definite improvement to the v22 mod...

i buy nokia 5233 and i lost my all hopes with nokia cellphones becuase my battrey backup has headache me and internet video i always got charger in my hands
I also go to Nokia care at baramulla kashmir even they also did not give solution
We have less or more 7 Nokia phones in my family but worst battry back of mine this mobile

hey yesterday i bought ths phone now iwant to knw which is suitable memory cwrd for ths device in my area sandisk available is it good n also tell me cost of 4 n 8 gb nokia dealer sale me 650 4gb 1350 8gb n another shopkeeper sale me 450 4gb n 800 8gb so y less is it duplicate ????? bcz both from sandask n both dont knw abt class pls help me

As its smartphone symbian series 60 ver.5 nokia doesn't support all application to be installed on to your phone for security reasons goto cer.opda.com and register and apply for your cer there......

nokia 5233, 06 Aug 2010it is said dat it can play...H.264(mp4) format... but vn i... moreOk try lower resolutions like 320x240 or 400x220 or something like that. It works. But for full 640x360 resolution, you need to convert it to mpeg4 coded video and not AVC(h.264)

it is said dat it can play...H.264(mp4) format...
but vn i convrt a file to dat format...it is unable to play th video...only sound is der...no video is displayin....
plz tell me about dis... n which format i can see on dis... n which converter should i use...thanx..

I took the risk and i'm reaping the benefits and so far, it has only done wonders for me. My laggy UI is now superfast and I can install everything and anything. Now just did the V23 update and it is even better than V22 mod. The V21 update by Noia is still good but these custom fw are better in every respect.

Using hacked firmware will void your warranty but you can easily revert to the original firmware anytime using the same method you use to flash the hacked firmware. If such an emergency comes, I will load the original firmware before taking it to the service center.

I heard that only symbian os app or software support in the ph., no java support?? what is symbian nd from where can i download theme,software,games? Can v open WOd,Excel File?
