Hey i should take 5233 or 5230?
I want 3g but i don't want to waste my money for 3g when the service isn't available in Airtel.
Can any1 tell when airtel will launch 3g,

I've owned this phone for about 10 days. It's accelerometer stops working after I switch it off and then on, so have to do a factory restore, have had a lot more problems with it. This is a bug in most of 5233s. I've exchanged this from the dealer for 5230 which is around Rs 1000 more expensive but its worth it. 5230 also has Integrated GPS and 3G Technology.

it has da same plastic sideline like 5230.but i have heard of hanging problem in 5230,though its a 3g phone but many say it hangs a lot.

luq, 12 Jun 20105233 touch response is very good. resulation is same as 580... moreso it is not a wifi capable phone ? am i right ?

I have owned this phone a couple of months ago.So I can tell you the pros and cons.Main disadvantages:1.The speaker is not loud enough. 2.The softwares are buggy. 3.Sometimes the accelerometer stops working,then I have to restore factory settings :-[ 4.Can't handle more than 3 tasks. 5.Can't handle more spacious memory cards...And the advantages are:1.Excellent video recording and playback,camera is also very satisfactory. 2.Touch feedback is well enough than the famous 5800xm 3.Network strength is superb. 4.Screen is very colourful and bright. 5.Young urban outlook with extra battery cover,over all it's a very good phone but it needs a better firmware...May be a firmware update can solve the problems.It's for those,who want to record and watch videos on their phone.It's not good for music,multitasking or gaming.It's only a good movie player.

is this phone that costly in europe
in india its only 6600(100 euros)
in europe it can be 10-20 euros more but is it really 140 euros in europe

good phone.......... but i think that 5230 is better !! the difrnce is also just rs 500/-.... so who all r willing to buy it ..........dont do that buy 5230 .........

This phone from Nokia is a crap. I understand its a low budget phone but atleast the quality shud have been gud. Nokia sell products only with its brand name. This phone restart very often. Rest features I need not speak sound is worse radio is worse in one word money waste.

If 3G is not with 5233 handset than useless other features and Nokia is manufacturing those mobiles which has not all the features in a single low price range mobile set.
