useless phone, i dont understand what Nokia try to prove by lauching this phone, copy of 5233 just difference of video recording.
should made some changes atleast, like music edition, memory increase or camera improvement.
completely useless.

5233 touch response is very good. resulation is same as 5800.i have both {5800,,5233}mobiles.every feater ans software are same.except wifi,3g gps and cam.5233 cam 2mp but belive me pic quality is very good.web browsing is same as 5800.i strongly recomended 5233

PROS :
awesome looks(looks very expensive)...great screen..os is quite fast..is vry stable..nice extra back covers (two) with stylus in pack...music playback quality is very good...price only Rs. 6500...
CONS :
very bad headphones in pack... u hav to buy good ones to enjoy music...speaker is not very loud..may be the new firmware update may fix it..

Honestly, Nokia should review it's branding and models. There's just too many series to pick from and it's confusing the heck out of the customers.
they don't have to emulate apple by sticking to one brand, but they can sure as heck simplify the selection. Now there's
X,N,E,C,6,5,3,2 urgh.. too many series, and the various differences in specs is supremely annoying.

to all the haters of this phone: nokia isnt asking you to purchase this phone. this phone is for people who doesnt want bells and whistles but would like to have a decent phone... if u want 3g or wifi or gps, just shut up and go get yourself an iphone if u can afford it..

Nokia mainly released it because for the people who dont have there pockets filled with does its a great move to satisfy the people who cant afford a nokia touch phone and costing around $150 who cant afford it.
And about the phone its a great touch phone with very good music quality (though the speaker is not top notch)it runs the same os as 5800 and same cpu.In the retail box i got the usual stuffs but no data cable though got a extra back cover and 2gb card.Final words if you have the money dont buy it but if you on a budget i highly recommend it.

Excellent fone for certain segment of people who dont require gps, wifi & 3g. So why pay extra for these. Touchscreen with everything else.

Bought one a week back for 6.5k rs. Good phone. Hangs sometimes. Accelerometer is too sensitive. After disabling it, have no problems. All browsers at landscape mode and can select qwerty from input mode. So not much problem there.
