open settings>phone>app setting>options>other. change the memory in use as sd card. Your hanging problem will be over.

The hanging issue of while sending sms can show due to theme probleme also second your saved sms memory should be memory card & the other problem can be virus have you scaned the device & its SD card if you didn't then do it try and keep netquin antivirus & specially netquin M-Guard give a full OS scan using M-Guard that'll definitly solve the hanging problem & backup all the sms in you P.C using OVI suit you can bacup your contacts photos videos & sms so do it that should be of some help to you.

i have been using this mobile nokia 5233 nearly for 8months.this mobile will switched off suddenly without a reason,touch screen not works properly.but now touch screen not at all working.battery life's worse.if we charged it for 2hrs it will come for just 8hrs for standby time and dont ask about talk time and net browsing.i suggest you not to buy this mobile.

See you need to give you handset a full OS scan using Netquin MGuard.See memory full & Handset gets hanged these are the issue which occur when too many app are running at a time & the RAM of you device gets over load so to solve the problem download MGuard it solves problem such as hanging issue & memroy full issues always give a scan to your OS using Mguard the phone'll run smooth remember when you use OVI & WEB the RAM of yours is under real pressure make sure not to do too many multi tasking or to run too many apps while using internt that should solve the problem.

Y my phone get hang sometime lite it restart.. I did everything like software updation, mmc formate, phone formate bt nothing has changed it hangs.. Just my phone hanged when i was on nokia ovi it gave a msg that memory full then ovi applicatio got close automatically when i tried to restart ovi the my phon got hange.. I swear peeps its such a sick phone i wont suggest it to anyone please anybody help me
