Here document viewer available but in 5230 document viewer not available. I think almost no hardware difference. So price should be almost same. So I think 5235 will be better.

any one tell me what is diff bet 5230 and 5235 as per nokia website 5230 has only 3g , 70 mb memory , 256Ram and 5235 has 3g with video calling ,320 memory,512 Ram,With Music 18 month free download

It only matters what you need most. If you need all three of them, then you need a more expensive device. What you dont have any clu about is that Nokia cannot canibalise their models: if 5235 had wi-fi as well, would of meant that 5530 was useless on the market. And there is something called price that also defines a cell phone: you cannot have all at a small price. Capisci?

Rohan, 26 Jan 2010This could have been better if it had wlan. and 3g is of no... moreyou dont know what you are talking about. Its not that 5530 is better than 5235, but (and pay attention) 5530 adresses to a different category of buyers:
- you go for 5530 if you want Wi-fi;
- you go for 5235 if you need 3G and you use it as GPS (5235 has gps incorporated so you dont need a receiver).
If you want good photos, you will be dissapointed to hear that both 2Mp and 3.2Mp are low profile cameras. As most of the cell phones cameras. Take some shoots with a 8 Mp camera belonging to a cell phone, and after that take photos with 8 Mp point&shoot camera. you will notice the clear difference. So its simple: if you want to take good photos, buy a point&shoot camera, not a cell phone.

This could have been better if it had wlan. and 3g is of not much use while it has no secondry cam. 5800 best phone. this phone is for people who have range below 10k. 5530 is far better then this phone. 5530 has 3.2 mp cam and many more features then this phone.

In my opnion this fone is much better then 5800 XM coz this gives almost the best features and the most of all its an SymbianOS v5 cellfone with touch screen support and large LCD display... I say its best buy fone of this year.

Surya Singh., 23 Jan 2010@ Gopi If the Price Point is considered then obviously N... moreDear forget about head set supplied with phone you can try 5233 and wh-205, i m having both handset ie 5130 xm and 5233 as per my observation i found 5233 rocks in some low frequencies band output which was not found in 5130 xm but in all other aspect both are good music phones as 3g is not available everywhere.

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2010whats the difference between 5230 and 5235?Nokia 5235 is a Music Phone which indirectly means that it will consist of an Audio CHIP like the Xpress Music Versions or maybe finally even this phone might be named Nokia 5235 XpressMusic. But maybe this phone might not be released in India in its original format because we already have a Nokia 5233 which is = 5235 - 3G - GPS.
So utimately its you who has to decide.

If the Price Point is considered then obviously Nokia 5230's sound quality is awesome. First Thing: The Speaker in the phone is MONO so just dont expect too much out of it. Second thing: The Original Nokia Headsets that comes prepacked has a very limited sound quality because Nokia still follows the European Health Regulations. Replace those headsets with a Philips one or even better n expensive ones when you buy the Phone and Mannnnn...... You will have a ROCKSTARrrrrr in ur Hands.
