i hv bought this phone 2 days back
i'm not able to open word or excel or pdf files ,
is this phone not preloaded with office for veiwing these files
official nokia sites or gsmarena mentions in the features as word,excel document veiwer.
How do open these files ..pls help

ovi maps for ur phone
well all of us have faced problem in loading map file from ovi suit ,timed out timed out
here is the work around ,i just dont know if any1 have posted this r not
downlaod this updated ovi 3.06

then install and run for 2 r 3 min ,if net is there then connect and browse for 2 r 3 min
then download this file for india map

Connect your phone using mass storage
download the zip file and extract the contents (should be some folders named with numbers and letters)
to the folder: e:\cities\diskcache\
u will see like 0.1.2...........just overwrite
if u need voice then download

its been 2 weeks i brought this phone for 8300 inr
internal memory suppose to be 320mb but its just 82mb ,some others say that 320=ram+ c drive+ d drive+z drive
ram and c drive is around 200mb ,then z drive just be 120mb??????????????????????????? not sure on this
plz review on this topic
and which is the best and easy load antivirus for this model ,right now i am using netq
and 1 more i noticed is that when i connect to pc in pc suite mode and if i want to transfer 10mb file ,when transfer starts phone does not respond pressing menu key will take long time ,but this is not a issue when not transfer any file to phone
plz comment on this

anup69, 26 Oct 2010hi kribha could u reply to my previous post please. . Thank you:)I faced no prob in connecting after the update. I dont use ovi suite though - I find it too bulky. PC Suite works fine for me. You can install ovi music (not the full ovi suite) separately for your unlimited music downloads.

Could anyone of you please help to get a perfect pdf reader for this phone.I have tried a lot and googled for lots but nothing is working.Either its a trial version or a just a complicated and non friendly one.If you have successfully downloaded one,please let me know about that one.Any help would be highly appreciated :)

solved after a hard reset and formet of memory card . Just give it a try

For those of you who had earlier flashed their phones with 5230's firmware:
If you had successfully changed the product code back to 5235's after flashing, then NSU (not OTA) will update your firmware to 5235's latest. Effectively your phone will change back to 5235 from 5230, although I am not sure if there is a difference between the two.
