this the best phone ever in this segment i used it from last 4 months it is a very good phone in segment of sound quality also very nice camera screen if anyone won't more volume then i advised them to Chinese phones because this phone has good enough sound quality.

So guys as i 've said before that i'll give full review of nokia 5235 so here it is
I've bought this phone on 14th aug. 2010 from 'the mobile store' in 8660/- INR (approx 185 $) and i got a free gift worth 1500/- INR (33$) in a scrach card voucher from the store because Nokia India is celebrating 15 years.
So in the box i got black nokia 5235,charger,wh701(also got two more pair of white rubber in-ear things),battery,plectrum stylus (the phone's also got a stylus in its back cover compartment) ,small cd of ovi player, 2gb card in the phone which has preinstalled old indian maps, you can get a new one via ovi suite, a small 7 inch usb data cable,user guide and a sms which contains 12 months ovi music unlimited subscrition key which i dont need.
Hardware of the set is quite good. Black one is very sylish but dont know abt the white one. Its ice blue metalic crom rim is very beautiful and creates a class. Even the hardware plastic is very high in quality. Back cover has a stylus compartment and a stylus in it. Its hard to take out the back cover but to put in and out sim and memory card is much harder,you'll need the stylus for this work.
S60v5 is a very user friendly os. Its a smartphone so you'll find most of the things like a pc. It has a add or remove programs,ram,processor,you need to sign and install every app. So lets start a quick overview of the firmware.
Homescreen is good you can customise it,but it cant support auto rotation which is not required actually.
Messaging is quite comfertable bcoz of the full qwerty keypad.
Call log and contacts are not worth to talk abt very much.
Ovi maps is one of the main feature lf this phone,its very useful for all of us, turn by turn free voice navigation in almost every language and search in map offline are very cool features. You can also save your fav places and share current location on facebook.
Camera is very good as we do know its only 2mp, but clarity is far better then my uncle's n72's 3.2mp carl zeiss.
As we all know that Inbuilt Browsers are not good to use so you can use opera or other browsers.
Ovi store is ok but many useful apps are not free so you'll not find it useful after a month of use.
Ovi music unlimited is presented as its main feature, but its not very useful for me and many of us, i didn't even activated my subscription so cant tell you more.
Radio is better then s40's, shazam app is very useful if you wanna know which song is playing at that place, you can dnld it from ovi store.
Video player is very good you can convert your videos to mp4 according to this configuration-
Mpeg4-simple profile 0-3 vga,
H264-avc qvga,
Mpeg4-simple profile 0-3 nHD (640*360)
no divx/xvid support is disapoinment. Even i cant find any other video player useful for playing avi files. Smart movie player or divx player plays sluggish videos, so built-in real player is best for me.
Music- According to me Its main feature is music player, works very well with good headphones, you can find one in your box (wh-701), but if you wanna loud music via both headphones & speakers then this phone is not for you. Even all nokia s60 touch phones have volume problems via headphones. I saw somebody wrote on internet that nokia has recieved many complaints abt hearing loss by handset volume so they reduced the sound of their future phones. Its very irritating to listen my fav rock pop or dance songs in low volume. Connecting headset in lineout connection is somehow a slight relief. But to solve this problem you have to buy a 3.5 mm headphone amplifier, in my case i'm planning to buy a fiio e3 worth 5-6 $. It can increase volume of your connected earphone. Low volume is the only drawback of 5235 which we cant understand before buying.
Games and Apps are wonderful experiense in this phone lots of apps and games are available for s60v5. You can find them on mobile9 or simply search on google 's60v5 apps and games',accelerometer games and are very few but enjoyable.
On A SERIOUS NOTE - IF YOU WANT THE BEST DEVICE FOR MUSIC, GAMES AND APPS THEN GO FOR NEW IPOD 4th GENERATION STARTING FROM 229 $ (10,000-11,000) FOR 8 GB VERSION. Its BETTER THEN PSP FOR GAMING, YOU CAN DOWNLOAD 60,000 FREE APPS FROM APPLE iSTORE AND 'DUH' ITS AN IPOD IT CAN GIVE YOU THE BEST OF THE MUSIC. But don't be worried. Its the best phone in this price range if you want more worth for money phone then go for 5230, Corby is such a pile of crap in front of these phones .But ultimately choice is yours. Best Of luck

It has a pretty good GPS too.
