.Is it possible for a symbian device to be infected with virus? I am asking this for I browse a lot with my 5235. Nokia Care says no antivirus is necessary but I am not fully convinced. Of course I visit only those sites that are generally regarded as trustworthy. But I always hear people talking of anti-viruses for their phones. Do I need one? Another question - does reinstalling the firmware once in a while clean the phone memory of viruses, if any?

@Neha...u can take the device to nokia care and explain your situation to them...they will degrade the firmware back to v12.6.092

i still can't understand why is nokia not releasing any firmware update for this nice phone....
can we nokia 5235 users exepect even a single firmware update?????

I had updated my firmware using Nokia Updater to v20.6.007(the software had recognised it as 5230!)..however i'm aware that as per Nokia's website the version is v12.6.092..I dont know how the updater managed to do dat.
Well my issue is dat i'm unable to access d Unlimited music service,it shows -"device not supported"..can i rollback to my earlier firmware?

arpit, 23 Jul 20105230 and 5235 are still coming soon on nokia Europe site.!!!europians will consider these handsets like cheap.. These phones are for us, asians! especially most indians, aam aadmi..! we prefer cheap yet superior products. This phone (5235) is very good. I am using it from 29th may, almost two months and I am satisfied with performance.

Document viewer is not preinstalled however one can get that at free (cracked version) from many sites. I got for mine from mobile9.com
