I thnk dis is a cheap phone :D , ds da 1st time i see a touch screen lyk dis from nokia , good job nokia . You made ds for indigeneous people :D

I agree. The features of this phone does not make it worth higher than 6-6.5k. A capacitive touchscreen would have helped the cause.

oh man No WiFi 2MP cam. It is not good phone to be have in this range.

Funny how people are beating each other over the head like they used to do back in the stone-age... What I mean is, not a single OS has been successful to reach the perfection level. Every OS has its drawbacks, now it totally depends on the user's needs, for example, I find some of the options in Blackberry phones extremely useful, which Nokia and SE did not introduce in any of their phones till date. While my Xperia Mini (Android 1.6) fits my pocket too well, and the OS is completely open source, I can find thousands of apps fot it! :)
Bottom line, use what you're comfy with!

One more thing, how can you say that symbian os is bad......
Mind you, it was the first os for smart phones...... Also if u compare it with other os, it supports more apps than any other os......
Officially 7.5 million apps while apple os stands only with 2.5 million...... Bada doesnt even have a thousand.....

Some facts you should know: Nokia 5250 is the cheapest touch screen SMART Phone to date. And also you should know that Symbian OS is the most user friendly and popular OS according to User ratings. Plus don't forget to keep the Price Tag of the phone in mind, its surely not meant for High-Tech Geeks. You should notice its an All-Rounder for anyone who wants an economical phone. Yes, Nokia touch-screen quality is not up to the class of Iphone or Galaxy-S, but its still around average touch phones like LG Cookie, Pop, Samsung Champ, Corby. So finally I conclude that 5250 is the BEST phone you'll get for the given Price.... Thanks.
