Durability - It is durable. I have the black and white 5300 since february and it has not broken. I have heard of the red ones having screen troubles though.
the 6300 is stainless steel and to me feels a bit heavy (dont no its actual weight). i thik uf u dropped the 6300 it will gain more velocity snd then hit harder so its ur choice

What is more durable 5300 or 6300?and why? answer my question plzzzz..........and what is the price of a second hand 5300 here in the philippines cos i want this phone? I wish this phone wont break it screen easilly when droped many times..i wish...

i no 2 people whos red phone has broken. my black one hasnt. it has scratched a bit but when u drop it on concrete. who's wouldnt ? it just depends on wat u prefer. it shoodent break that easliy

Just found the lcd screen (and tool to fix it) for about $30 on E-Bay and the tutorial on how to install it on YouTube. Gotta love the interweb!

Just a heads up. I dropped my 5300 in a padded case (on carpet!) and the lcd screen (behind the undamaged hard plastic) did the same thing as Tyler's. Toast :~(

i have dropped it a lot. trust me it is sturdy. it wont snap off or anything like that.

tyler u cannot buy a new screen
but u can always repair it at any phone shop, i guess, or go to ur phone model shop like maxis..

please read this for further advice on this phone..
*the reason u people are having problem with the speaker is because ur not holding the phone probably, as i have this phone i had this problem too. But as it says in the leaflet (wich obviously u guys have never read) it says that it needs a signal meaning u cant put ur hand over the back of the phone, sort of hold it from the bottom and u can hear people very clearly. Try it..
*i have dropped this phone from quite a height and i was so worried that it wouldnt work again but it did.. nothings wrong with it and the screen doesnt split in half =] dont worry..
*and if ur having trouble with music, update ur library...

Steve - u must not be doing much with your phone then. my batery last about 2 days. about 75 texts a day. is all i do really
Tyler - where u bought it from. ask them to get u a new screen not under ur warranty because they will not cover ur warranty
