hi every1.i want to buy this mobile but want some advice.whats the difference wid nokia 5200 and nokia 5300 or is it just a colour difference.can u only get nokia 5300 in red?

to kutoo: Check with nokia if they have a compatible battery with greater capacity.. however.. My battery is just fine.. it does not easily run out.. what I did is like this..
Go to menu>> settings>> connectivity>> packet data>> packet data conn.. and then choose when needed instead of always online.. coz u know.. Constant packet connection eats up energy a lot..

this phone is so great.. Better than th so-called king of s40 phones 6233.. Now this newer model is the king of s40 phones..

to Mike Tavoularis whatever: I'm using a 5300 but i'm not experiencing any problems like that,, maybe you shoul go to a nokia center..
to glenn: yes the menu graphics are animated and they're awesome.. however.. who cares for menu animation??

The phone is cool the only problem is that of not having a flasher and the battery gets drained so fast.Any other compatible battery?

Hi guys!My girlfriend gave me as a present a Nokia 5300 but i think it has a problem,it makes a sound like "noise" (or whistle).I don't have to make a call to hear it.I hear it every time I put it on my ear even it is on call or not. I heard that noise at my friend's 5300 too but it wasn't so loud.Has anybody notice that.If yes, did he solve these problem?How?Please save me!Nokia doesn't replace it!Thanks anyway

I've worked out how to make the battery last longer. Go to Settings > Connectivity > Packet Data > Packet Data Conn. > and set it to WHEN NEEDED instead of ALWAYS ON

Actually first of all i thought that it is great mobile to use but now i realise that its just chickens fly against eagle.Because with in two days its speaker was not good.now i will not buy nokia forever

I'm buying this phone, my choice was between this and the Samsung E900, but the E900's sensitvity put me off. I'm just worried about one thing, is the camera and video really bad? And does it play WMA music files? Someone please tell me on:

to the one with no name: how can u say that the music player of 6233 is as good as the one in 5300..
the one in 6233 is the old, lame one..
music player in 5300 is seriously improved and updated..
read the review first then think about what u said!!

i hope someone makes a battery that is compatible with this phone because i use it for about 3 hours of music and it needs charging again! I have drained the battery and charged it up a few times to create the "cycle" but the performance is still poor. Please post here if anyone knows of a third party battery! thanks!

5300 5300 5300 looks like a rolling Soap
6233 is sexyyy with stainless steeel :P
6233 music player is just as good as 5300 and 6233 looks better
its all about 6233

jec: what r u saying?? its obvious that 5300 is better., once u got to use them..
music player in 6233 is lame and boooorrriing....
5300 rocks in all aspects..
6233 only better for imaging,,
over-all 5300 is more preferable and recommendable...

to jec: don't send 6233 so high.. 6233 performs damn slow, just like nseries.. 5300 is way better.. and hey, this is a place for 5300 user reviews.. not 4 6233
