Great mobile!! I'm wondering why nokia released this model, because it's definitely going to trash out the n-series and other symbian as well, I don't think nokia would want that to happen...

Nice phone - it's just that the call log won't stay in chronological order. Anybody else had this problem and happens to know how to fix it?

I bought the 5300 and it has great features. What I don't like is the sliding constructions, I really don't like sliding phones.. If u want these features but don't want the sliding factor.. Get the 6300, more solid construction, same features and a lot much better display and camera but same great interface!!

I have been using 5300 and trust me its just amazing and worth the price.But i guess they need to come up with better colors,something like complete black or cream.

Hi everyone,
I am thinking of buying the 5300 phone...I read a lot of posts here and also did a trip to a nearby mobile store.. now I have came to a conclusion that it is a worthy.
BUT my only doubt is if the build quality is really good.. because recently one of my friends bought a 5200 .. which has a body through which u can see un-even light in dark..This creates an impression that the phone might not be durable. Is the case same with 5300 ?
Can someone who has already bought the phone in India tell this. ( In India 'coz the handsets sold in India are mostly manufactured in India itself.. n somethimes there are noticeable diff. in models in India and abroad )
Apart from the build quality... I am pretty convinced about buying the 5300..
coz it has a gorgeous display,
good Player Software,
supposed syncing with Windows Media Player11 and yes, I am planning to buy SONY headphones
and I don't care about the camera.. anything below 2048 x 1536 is useless.

got this phone last week,can't stop listening to its music!its so easy to use,very fresh design but battery life is sooo lousy!have to charge everyday with a few calls and less than halfhour of music.Nokia , its suppose to b SE walkman competitor!lol

I own this phone.. and it's screen is damn great!! so fine and it offers a nice level of brightness. The sliding construction is great and offers a smooth movement, although I admit that it's not the best construction around. Music sounds great from the speaker but there are cracks at the loudest volume, but not as bad as the 3230 loudspeaker of course.. Over all, its a great phone. But how I wished that it wasn't a slider phone, because it gives the fragile impression.

NO this phone DOES not need symbian
if you want symbian get the 5700
if you dont want symbian 5200/5300 are best!

Truly a great phone.. it's amazingly great, but BL-5B batteries are such a heck of dissapointment..
