Hi Batista,
Currently, NSU has some issues on Windows Vista. That might be the issue. Or is it just NSU sometimes misbehaving badly?
Better update your phone using Windows XP, Vista might kill your phone. I have this friend bricked her N95 when she tried updating it using Vista.

I tried to upgrade my firmware at my cousin's house coz she has DSL internet. Windows Vista. When it was about to install the firmware it says that the phone was not detected. hey man I think I did it ryt (put it to general profile and it is not keypad locked) What happened man?? I didnt disconnect the phone. My phone is open-line.

i got this phone last dec 23,its rily d best fon except for the battery, it rily suck..
but the music and camera is good...
its rily a gid buy for a reasonable price!!!

ok, looks good but that's it! Why is the internal display soooooo small and trick the eye with this fat black frame? oooops, is that a 1,3 megapixels camera?!? :(

BIG WASTE...only 1.3megapixel camera and what's more, it's protruding out from the cover.
Other than that, very nice design and colour applications.

my cousin got this phone this holiday and the battery sucks..even the charger suck. it cant charge the battery effectively.
but then again..phone and battery and the charger was made in china. probably those crappy clone phones from china

haha..i cnt mke up my decision about on dis phone whter im going 2 buy it or wat coz based on the diffrnt kind of comments like the battery the lcd crakcs w/out any reason..so why by dis phone???/ryt

i own this phone and its great i only have two problems with it: for a music phone the battery life is kinda weak and it doesnt support WMA but overall its a great phone

yes battery life is low but then again, we dont stay in far of jungles. the plug point is only that far away ;)

the camera is very good in bright lights, but sucks in the dark..even though there's night view. music is obviously nice...and the software is good. GOOD BUY!

Sorry for the late reply. That the cause of too much booze!
Regarding on your question, the Nokia 5300 won't become slow even you put a 2GB card on it. It won't get slow because this phone uses a non-symbian OS. Maybe you'll experience a slight change in performance if the memory card is pretty full. But again, putting that 2GB card won't hurt your phone. Just go ahead and enjoy full music tracks!

I've been using this one for 1 year now. The problem is the battery and most irritating is that the display will blank off suddenly and come back again. Am not sure why. And also starting to have problems with the camera where I cant save images into my memory card although I still have memory space available. I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone!

HI, I own this phone and i think its really good but the battery really sucks, i have to charge it every day but its worth buying and unfortunately doesnt last

i really liked this phone, but in the 6 months iv had it the software crashed twice which meant i had to get it wiped and restored(which takes 3 weeks if you send to nokia,look for a service centre) and now the screen seemed to break for no obvious reason,wasnt dropped,was only my wallet in my pocket so no extra pressure or hard objects.
shoddy design on the screen now means its €120 to fix the screen. not worth it so buying a new phone instead
Last phone lasted me 5 years so very disapointed

ya its only 3gp format,u can convert any movie in 3gp.
