this fone is the coolest fone ever I've been using it for more than 6 month and nothing is wrong and also it fell from me few timez and nothing is wrong sound is loud speed keypad I liked it very much and evey thing is perfect its themost perfect fone but the battery you'll get use to chargeit everyday

Nokia 5300 is just awesome. I hav been using this phone for 5 months and nothing is going wrong with it. Everything is working just perfect. I think this phone can take java files more than 1 mb as i am using yahoo go which is 1.2 mb. But when i downloaded it, it was about 550 kb. Anyways its really cool phone. I want to rate it this phone.

Camera: 5/10
Keypad: 9/10
Side keys: 9/10
Battery: 4/10
Screen: 8/10
Connectivity: 8/10
I rated camera low, but its not a problem. The main downfall is its battery, which wears out fast. Internet is fast too. I saw some1 wrote its slow, but i don't think so. I got EDGE in my network which delivers 230 kbps speed. N try to download operamini. Its great n fast too. In short this phone rocks man.

mokia 5300 has 1gb or 1000 mb but u can buy a micro sd 2gb

S60 application cannot be used in 5300 accept if it is a java application which the screen resolution is 240x340..SIS file cannot be use in 5300, it is not supported. Java Application size not more than 1MB..

its realy quite a lovely fone, wen i first got it, i thought it a bit boyish but really its a powerhouse, plays all files and een though its camera is 1.3mp, it looks like 2.0 mp!
lovely fone, with interchangeable covers
i recommend it to anyone!
the keypad and t9 are very reliable as well!

i just wanted to know what MB,GB of the phone memory because were my is 8.23 MB i'm so doubt of that..i can't install more songs,images because it's so short..i really want to know what the real mb of nokia 5300..thanks

I absolutely recommend this phone. It's better than your other choices..why?
1)Nokia 6280 has many problems on it:
Slider malfunction, still many bugs.
2)Moto V3i
Slim is likely easy to break. Weak loudspeaker, plus oldie UI interface.
Better get Nokia 5300, great sound quality, loudspeaker, MicroSD, great screen and great UI interface.

Make sure that you have enought space on the phone memory. The theme is taking up some space on it when applied. Beware of it.

Nokia does care for you and your phone. So that's why they fixed the loudspeaker behaviour. When the latest version was 3.93, almost 60% of all loudspeakers got broken because of that. So Nokia did fix the bugs and codes for the loudspeaker to make it much better and it won't likely break now. That problem caused Nokia a much criticism about Nokia 5300.

I've a problem..
i installed a theme for my 5300 , i dont know what happened it got too slow , i deleted the theme and it stills slow , some ppl told me to format the memory card i formated it , now i cant copy any thing to the memory it's telling me that " Could Not complete " even if i can copy it i dont find it, it's just disappears ! So plz help me to slove this Guys
