I read in a previous comment that this phone can store unlimited number of messages(sms) if used with a memory card. I'm I correct?
Does that mean that if I upgrade later to a smartphone, I will still able to read with my smartphone the messages stored in my memory card while I was using my feature phone?

Baalamb, 13 Jan 2021Looking at a teardown video on YouTube, I'm planing to... moreOkay, I didn't need a soldering iron – after dismantling (with a miniature Torx driver and a guitar pick), I just clipped off the "prongs" on the red bit of plastic that press the actual buttons on the circuit board. This means that the side volume buttons now do nothing at all, but this is not a problem since there is always another way to adjust the volume. Stupid that I had to do this, but it's a good phone now. (Although admittedly the internet on it is basically unusable, but I expected that!)

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2021Hi my Dad has a Nokia 5310 and sets the ring tone as high v... moreLooking at a teardown video on YouTube, I'm planing to open it up and simply de-solder the buttons from the board (the volume can be changed with other buttons). This is a sledgehammer to crack a nut, but I doubt they'll be fixing it in software any time soon, so... yeah. It's a stupid design.

It’s basic and no frills phone! If you want something most sophisticated then you should be looking at an iPhone 12 Pro Max not trolling on here!

His phone is set to lock, but when locked it still keeps reverting back to silent - due to the red buttons on the side of the phone being pressed in his pocket. Is there a solution to this please? -

Volume side buttons change ringer volume even when phone is locked without any indication!
Meaning, while buttons are easy to press, the ringer volume randomly changes while phone is in pocket or purse ... I've already missed 60% of calls because of this issue when ringer volume was set to 0% and there's no proper fix available for it!
Oh dear ... such an issue in 2020 ...

Does this phone allow "search" in its music app?
Because I have 1000s of songs on my SD card and on my present phone I have to go thru the entire app searching for songs for creating playlists..
If it does have the option then I'm definitly going for it.
