i was use this phone over 1 year, to remove automatic restart you must update your phone to V10.10. Before i update my phone it's always auto-restart during i plays games and plays Mp3.

10- restore all files and applications to your phone or install back yor memory card.

saurabh, 10 Jun 2009hey dude....I have 9.42 version of firmware and nokia updat... moreif you want update the firmware you must install this software to your PC with fast internet,RAM 512 and above:
Nokia PC Suite - can download from nokia web.
Nokia Software Updater - can downloads from nokia web.
1- install nokia pc suite and nokia software updater
2- after you install the software, connect your mobile to computer with USB cable
3- back up all your files and application on your mobile to computer or moves all files and application to memory card and remove the memory card.
4- move all your contact name or contact numbers to SIM Card
5- run the nokia softwares updater with phone connect at pc with usb cable
6- click update on nokia software updater
7- when phone is updated do not disconnect the phone or your phone will crack.(sorry my bad english)
8- wait until complete(update in just 30 minutes,ME updated 30 minutes)
9- writes *#0000# on your phone to see the firmware.

-bt the worst part is tat my phone hangs up very frequently....especially wen im listening 2 music...plz dnt waste ur money on this phone its a big mistake!!!

I have a Nokia 5300 express music mobile. there is some problem when i open the mobile camera and then return back a message is flashed on mobile screen that phone memory is almost full. Delete items. please explain what can i do.

I was crazy to get this phone for many months.. Finally I made up the money in 3-4 months and got this phone from overseas thru a friend.. i loved the features EXCEPT the camera.. It was splendid for the first one month I used, Music was rich with a Branded Earphone.. Then one day it switched off and wouldnt reboot.. Sending back overseas was a hard task so I spent some money and tried repair in local shops.. Nokia care said flashing failed and returned.. Local service centres tuk a huge sum and repaired it for me.. With 3 hrs usage, the phone was bak to reboot mode..They tried again and same happened again.. Got my money refunded and sent it overseas.. Got it repaired in warranty and returned in 1 month time.. 2nd day again software's ass blasted.. For abt 2-3 months totally i was In such a big headache to repair and repair this phone this damned cursed phone with no phone in spare to use.. .. Finally my friend got a replacement and sold it that way then itself...
For all those people who jump in to buy this shit,
It looks cool, but every 9/10 people have problems with this model.Of which 3 suffer major software complaints like mine..All that glitters is not gold..
Such a big surprize this model sold over 13 billion with its looks alone..!!
I learned 2 lessons from this shit master peice from Nokia...
1. Never buy an immature phone from overseas which you are unable to service. Unless its a gift.
2. Never underestimate people's comments in this forum who talk abt phone complaints. i did and i learned. You yourself can count the no of posts and no of problems described.
Now peace of mind since the last 1 yr of nighmares..
Nokia is great but sometimes, turns evil..

i was update my nokia 5310 yesterday from V03.63 to V10.10.. and the firmware was great because the sound was loud and great and the camera cleared than firmware V03.63..

Have been using this phone for almost 7 months now... The unit's great except for the problem i've been experiencing, there are times when it restarts by itself and after start-up it just turns out so damn slow!
Photo quality is satisfactory, Sound/Music output is great, browsing is satisfactory

I got a problem with that phone, when i insert the headset it start to reboot like 2 or 3 times and then turn off...

East or West Sony Ericsson is the best..
