i have this phone for 1 year and it steal works perfect.the only problem is with the music keys..they need to be pushed very hard to work.the phone is perfect except the camera it works like a vga cam on video and the photos on high quality are good but it takes like 30s to save it

D... moreIts great phone dedicated to music, camera is good comparing a 2mega pix camera, plays good quality videos, if you are more of a music fun. this is the best phone for you. I lost mine in a month now i miss it and am willing to buy the same 5310.

Mikey, 24 Apr 2009hey, yes, the v 9.42 is very good. i have updated my phone... morethanks mikey! yeah i heard about that freezing problem with the earlier version, good for you that you have upgraded it and solved your problem with your phone. i think i dont have to upgrade mine since its working good.

captain rosco, 23 Apr 2009does nybody know whether this phone can be used in the USA ... morei think it should work. my friend bought a 5310xm from the US and it works perfect here, in Europe, Romania.
But, anyway, to be sure, you should ask the seller.

ive been using this phone for almost 5 mon... morehey,
yes, the v 9.42 is very good. i have updated my phone to v9.42 and it wors perfect. before i had the v5.81 (default fabrication software) and it used to freeze after 2-3h of music. but now, since i have v9.42 i dont have anymore problems...i didnt notice any aspect changes though.:)

Anonymous, 24 Apr 20095130 is better if your priority in music...i meant 5130 and... more Ya 5130xm beat 5310xm in loudspeaker sound quality but head phone, it cant. Also there is a woofer comes with 5310xm.

hello everyone!
ive been using this phone for almost 5 months and as of now im not having any problem with this unit. i have the black edition version 7.01 The camera is good and even without night mode i can still capture images like having a night mode as i compared it with the night mode of nokia 6300. video quality is poor because when i take video it tends to stop moment by moment just like having a pause every 2 seconds i think. sound quality is really good just like you can compare it with the sound quality of an ipod. then i found out about the 9.42 version but when i checked a forum about this version in the nokia website, it says that this version has many problems (please refer to this link) http://discussions.nokia-asia.com/discussions/board/message?board.id=swupdate&message.id=49382&query.id=477821#M49382
anyone here did the upgrade to version 9.42 already? what is/are the difference/s from the previous version/s? especially the differences on the camera, video recording and sound quality. please share your experiences...
anyway as i have said earlier im not having any problem with the version of my phone right now but if the latest version is better than the previous one, i think i might upgrade it.
