I congratulate u for receiving either of the two:

1.) A phone w/ version 3 OS and u don't know how to upgrade it so it pisses u off.

2.) A phone w/ OS much alike from that Original Nokia™ phone but u can't upgrade it because it is a China Clone. (China Clone, not China made).
and it also pisses u off.

          LoL

this mobile SUCKS. i had a nokia 6681 and replaced it by 5310 Xpress music on the 1st of october 2008 which is 1 of the most supid things i've done in my life . well there are 2 good things about this 5310: its BEAUTIFUL sound and its slim shape. apart from this, it SUCKS. i'm really starting to hate this phone. its software is relatively primitive as compared to nokia 6681, from writing and sending messages (esp in different languages) to not being able to move icons to the main menu (like you have to open the alarm clock from organizer, then when u're done adjusting it u have to scroll down to the bottom to save-) in nokia 6681 i don't remember doing so many steps to adjust my alarm or send a message or get the calculator or switch on my bluetooth so it's not really comfortable using it.
the Battery: its battery life is too short i have to charge it every day AND I REALLY MEAN EVERYDAY. u get the Xpress music phone to listen to music and poof! yr battery is out in no time.well the battery lasted about 5 days when i wasn't listening to music but it's Xpress music so it should be expected that users will listen to music as part of their regular use of this phone and i didn't buy 5310 Xpress music to ban myself from using the music player in order to save the battery. this is non-sense.
Restarting: the mobile hangs and freezes like every 3 or 4 days. it just gives a white screen and restarts on its own. this really pisses me off. this process takes like a few seconds but still it pisses me off because simply yr mobile shouldn't restart on its own even if the restart process lasts a millisecond.
Now the big thing that made me beg my sister to switch phones with me because i can't bear anymore: a few days ago i was listening to music on my phone using the headphones, then when i was done i unplugged the headphones to make a call and i didn't hear anything, i tried to listen to music on the mobile's loud speakers but i heard nothing. i looked at the screen and found that the icon of "headphones plugged" is still there even though i unplugged them so when i re-plugged them again i could hear the songs, i could hear the call again but when i unplug them the phone doesn't know that they are unplugged. this is a new problem that wasn't there when i bought it 6 weeks ago (6 weeks ago means that the mobile is still new and should act like new not like a piece of trash). i have to restart my phone in order to hear the sound by the speakers and if i dare plug those headphones again the same problem will happen.
the bottom line is, i really got sick and tired of this phone which really disappointed me much more and much sooner than any other device i have ever used in my entire life. i give this mobile a big zero and i'm sorry that i wasted my savings on it (i used to save my money to buy it). my advice is: get yourself a respectable phone and a cheap mp3 player (which will still give u the same sound), put the respectable phone in your pocket and the mp3 player in your keychain and voila! u're a happier man
oh i forgot to talk about its camera: video sucks tooooooo bad, very similar to 6610i (the 1st nokia phone with a camera), nightmode..err.. there's no nightmode or flash so u can't take any good photos at night like when u hang out with your friends cuz they will appear dark (or black)

I've been using one for about a month or so, and the best things about it are the music sound. Of course i convert wav files to 256Kbps mp3s, so they're better quality than 128.
Also, before i was warned against it, i bought an 8 gig memory card and have used it with no problem in the phone. It has 751 songs on it, or about 7 gigs. While the phone doesn't really know how big the memory card is, it plays all of the songs.

Ive used this phone for a few months, ive found it okay. few minor annoyances, when you take a picture it takes a long time to display the picture (also you must hold it still when shooting otherwise it blurs alot) to be honest its quite over priced for what it is.

Not all fon model supports a high quality camera.
Dis fon, Image quality is more prioritized than Camera quality. If u'r good enough to take photographs, Juz dont shake d camera. And u'l ended up in a perfect shot. It has a bad quality camera, bcoz it's slim. It can't support a bulky Carl Zeiss chip to fasten camera rate. Unless dey create a VGA version of it. Wat do u prefer? 2MP or VGA?

Nice phone design, and easy to understand.

Excelent music quality, its amazing!, sound is the best i've heared in a cell phone ever!

But you can't install symbian app, apps are designed for s60 not s40, so, if you want to install symbian .sis apps, do not buy this phone.

Battery duration, is not good at all.

Excelent screen resolution, is very shine and high quality.

Video quality record sucks! So if you want a cell phone to take video, do not buy this phone.

About photo camera resolution, quality is enought to upload your pictures to myspace for example.

My final veredict.- This is more like and ipod than a cell phone, i give it an 8 over 10.
