I have it for just a week, and the camera doesnt work anymore. anyway, I chose this for the audio feature. but the volume is low, yet, it fits me. I dont like big sounds. and I love to listen to its sound. It is quite handy and many friends envied me for having this??? it can cover up the negative points.

This phone is nice. Looks very pretty. Screen clarity is superb and camara clarity is good. i found two problmes with this model. The camara is very slow and phone hangs sometime. Expect this, i love this model.

jake, 04 Jun 2008I made the mistake of buying the samsung blast and now i ow... moreoops i forgot to tell you that the email application doesnt work on any of the blasts (i called samsung and they dont me that it doesnt work) also the i researched this a lot but the memory card reader on most of the samsung blasts dont work. it is extremely irritating trust me. i would like the blast more if the software problems were fixed but the only thing i like about the samsung blast after owning it is its looks. i hope this helps you with your decision.

Kai, 04 Jun 2008Hi all ^^ I have a few questions.... i'm deciding between ... moreI made the mistake of buying the samsung blast and now i own this phone now and i love it. the blast gets more and more irritating beggining with the keypad then i realized you can't do much of anything in terms of customization.The outside of the phone looks very cheap. The 5310 is awesome and i havent had a problem yet.i made the mistake of straying away from nokia haha.

Kai, 04 Jun 2008Hi all ^^ I have a few questions.... i'm deciding between ... moreYes, GIF's can be set as animated Screensaver and it can also support Flash Animations (.swf) files for Wallpaper. 5310 has Shockwave Flash Player 2.1 . the graphics are more pretty than SE's one because this phone is equipped with 16M Colour screen with sharp QVGA Screen.

the camera is very slow, i was very dis appointed. first i was very excited to buy this one but the cam acts vey slowly. why? although sounds is good.

Hi all ^^
I have a few questions.... i'm deciding between the 5310 and samsung blast.
The questions are, for the screen, can you have animated .gifs as a wallpaper? like, it actually moves on the wallpaper [unlike motorolas]
are the graphics/screen wuality nice and sleek? or kinda suck-ish like most older nokias??

This phone sucks for me... it's camera it is very slow. it moves in frames jeez. I have an 6131 and it's musch better then this one. i wanted this 5310 but after i saw it at one of my friends... i'ved change my mind completely. No Thanks. plus it's too slim for me

the phone is nice,its slim..my dad bought it from saudi but the label at the back of the phone says its made in hungary..so if you ask me it is much safe to buy nokia phones abroad than here in the philippines,most of them are fake and it is the warranty is also important..(",)

I just got this phone, I got it by mistake. I had the older nokia music Xpress and it got water damage, but I am every glad I got this one. The sound is great and the screen is 100 times better than the older one. The camera is slow but the pictures are very clear.

I am very confused... which is better
Nokia 5310 or Sony Ericsson W880i?
Both are slim and have 2mega pixel camera
However 5310 doent have secondary one were W880i has and the W880i's battery lasts forever =p
On the other hand 5310 has better screen FM radio and flash.Keypad is also better...
SO which do you siggest and why?

hello friends.....i'm planning to buy nokia 5310 for my dad.it kost 9200 odd rupees in bombay,india.dats around my budget....i have checked out the handset at mobile outlets here n find it cute and sleek.wanted to know about battery performace as my dad would be only use it for talking and no other applikation usage.i heard from sum frnds that it hangs....please let me know if this corect...i believe it may hang koz of the data stored on memory card like music n pics.my dad wont be using all this...do u suggeest any other nokia phone only which is sleek,has camera and also fm and bluetooth with memory..please let me know asap as i'm plannig 2 buy this phone this week...please email me also at varunnag@gmail.com with subject line : 5310-gsm arena...thanks would apppreciate your feedback at the earliest
