Does anyone know how I can delete
protected files on this phone?
They are part of the phone memory not the memory card.
Is there a program for it?
I want to delete the Frames clipart,
certain ringtones, themes ect.
Tried to delete but it comes out 'not available for system file'
Tried connecting to PC & delete manually but the same thing.
Help?!?

The 5310 is a music phone, also is Nokia a good brand for teenage girls. Its not too much and the menu is easy to handle

6300 isnt better than 5310 i have both the 6300 battery life is awful an the camera has green tone to it i had 3 6300 that all had same problem 5310 is much better

our daughter just graduated from grade 6 and she wants this phone. i just want to know if this is an ideal phone for teenage girls?

I bought this phone at christmas and i like it but can anyone tell me that if you miss a call on it does it freeze.mine does and i have to take the battery out and start my phone up again.

planned to buy this phone but after getting a demo i changed my mind the camera is very slow moving on video mode and the volume is low . i think for its price you should expect a better standard
its a great looking phone that's very slim line and only weighs about 70g but if you like to record videos and have a decent volume level
this would not be the phone for you

I am using Nokia 5310 for last 2 months. I too was attracted due to its coulour and slimness. But I found that the phone hangs while.......
-Talking
-Music player,
-switching between the contacts list and call log.
-While ending a call.
I concluded, looks are deceptive.

ive had the phone for 3 months now and there's no problems with it. it works perfectly besides the fact that the camera is mediocre especially the video. it is a very good phone. music is excellent and i have the 3.63 version

Can any body please tell me, about its battery backup, i have heard its not much good, the talk time isnt 5hrs 20 min actually, as my frend is using it, and says the talktime is of 2 hrs or so, and not more than 3 hours.

i like nokia 5310 just for its shape and size. but it got hanged when we use memory card in it. is is said that the mobile is for music but nothing.........................

If you're not into music phones, don't buy it. Nokia 6300 much better.

this is a go0d phone
+ its light/smal ,gr8 screan,gr8 mp3 player, 2 gigs of memry thats cums with the phone, direct 3.5mm , its loud throw head phones
- its loud speaker is soft, camra is slow no flash,

its commonsense why the speaker is so soft, Nokia wants 5310 buyers to get a loader JBL On-Call Speakers, thats why they programmed it to be soft.

this is the worst phone nokia has made.if you want to terminate a conversation it also goes on standby mode.rubbish

the sound quality of the phone is not good at all. why they call it a xpress music god knows... the camera is ok. but i think it is not a good buy
