hey i bought this phone two days back....it works fine....but when i copy mp4 files to mobile and play it , i can hear only audio and i could not see the video....can anyone help me wit their suggestion???? My mobiles software version is 5.81..... thank you

Hi guys, i'm planning to buy this phone the coming days,but after reading some opinions i'm afraid of the volume and camera problems and also about the re starting one. also how can i know about the version if it's 3.63 or 3.60,is there any opion to know that while buying it? need to know as soon as possible, thanks to all

Well...I just got my nokia 5310 express music phone last week...
As for now...i don't have any problems with i. The sound quality is good. And the phone was the best one i've got!!

Is it possible to play a fullscreen video in 320x240 resolution on it? V'yacheslav in his review was suggesting nearly half of the resolution, why's that? Is the hardware capable of rendering 320x240 or is it max 176x144 and it will expand it while in the landscape fullscreen mode? thanks.

Please somebody! tell what tha!? why is it sometimes when you scroll over the names & type-in the first letter of the name, it some times does not appear? & why is that, at times, it does not shows the names of the sender although it has been saved as i read tru my msgs? any suggestion? or digestion?

Look everyone ..
the whole point of the 5310 is ITS SIZE.
If you dont want a tiny neat phone dont buy it - If you do buy it dontn start moaning X phone, that is normally twice its thickness has more bells and whistles ......
(Re. Speaker 'sarin' - I made the point becuase the 3 speaker outlets are on the rear - If you leave face up on a flat surface then it can be hard to hear for that reason).

it is a fact that nokia is cheating & they dont give a damn, they hve sold this nokia 5310 with problems & biggest lie, battry doesnt last on standby for 2 days max & loudspeaker isnt heard even in pockets
other the firmware 3.60 & 3.63 , both are problematic & full of problems
so only one way is to keep complaining SYMBIAN
i contacted symbian by calling them as i am in india its hrindia@symbian.com
you contact symbian n tell them

if i wanted to buy somethin just for its size and music, wouldnt i just buy a damn ipod n buy a phone thats a good 'phone' separately??
u expect a music phone to have good calling capabilities as well like the ringer volume, n u cant be satisfied with a slow camera.
n oh yeah thanks for telling us where the speaker is........guys were pulling their hair out trying to locate the speakers but just couldnt manage to find it!

Had this phone for 2+ months - Its the best phone I've ever had.
For those moaning about the camera - go and buy a Nikon D300 ...this is not sold as an ace cam phone, its fine for the occasional snapshot (better than I had expected).
Music - Its superb ... using an 8gig microSD fine .. 3.5mm headphone jack ... sound very very good.
Ring Volume - adequate ... Bear in mind the speaker at the back of the phone.
Buy this phone for its size and music.
