sound is very loud and as good as any mobile at this moment in market!
it's very strange that many user of this 5310 r saying the opposite!
i also coneccted to my samsung bluetooth, and after disconnecting it, have no problem what so ever!

bought this phone 5 days ago and i'll be taking it back tomorrow. the problems started on day one when it rebooted after i paired it with my jabra stereo bt headset. at the moment it just keeps rebooting itself and i can't get it working. it's back to sony ericsson for me. sorry nokia, you'll have to try harder.

Its a wonderfull phone but the sound is a bit low and thats the only downfall of the phone

Hi.. From all the reviews i got from the site. I see some people are having trouble while others are saying their phone is brilliant. Well, i'd just like to know from where they had bought the set. I think the nokia priority shops might give a bug free set. I need to know this cuz i might buy one soon. So, please suggest what kind of shops would give a better mobile set?

Im planning to get this phone. I have a 6300 which will be used as a secondary. Does the 5310 XM overheat to like others complain about the 6300? My 6300 does heat up sometimes.

It is very possible that Nokia has made a slight revision change already. Those who jump to buy the *very first* available exemplar of a new model always risk getting a buggy phone. That will explain why some people got problems with low ring tone volume and some got a hanging phone and other have no problems at all. Be smart and have a little patience. A couple of weeks can make a big difference - and it will be cheaper too, guaranteed.

ok, i'm kinda confused here, some said that the ringing volume when receiving call is so low that they cant hear it when watching tv, but now someone clarified that its loud and clear. O.o which one is true???? We need truth and not bias thoughts. Cos I think this phone is quite good also, just need to know the ringing volume thanks ^^ btw, does it crash alot?

Iv only had this phone a day but i think its the best phone i have ever had!!!
it looks amazing, it soo slim and light, but feels sturdy at the same time.
The music keys are great and work without any lag at all.
The features of this phone are also really good. The music player is much better than the sony ericsson walkman player and the 2 megapixel camera is very good!!!
The screen is amazing with the 16,000,000 colours only rivald by the n95!!!
This phone is amazing, for any one who is confused about the volume it is really loud and clear!!! If anyone is thinking about buying this phone, i recommend you do!!!
you wont regret it!!!!!!!!

nokia will soon release a firmware update for this to fix those bugs.

Okay, here's what I've gotten so far from this thread:
1. The 5310 speaker volume is unsatisfactory.
2. The 5310 camera is also not up to par.
3. The keypad backlight is dim.
4. The software seems to crash ever so often.
If Nokia is monitoring this, I'm sure they will come up with a solution to all these issues. We hope that the next shipments of the 5310 will be much improved.

Camera is very poor. i think its vga camera.
