This is awesome phone guys. It is soo light and also very easy to use. I kinda wanted to change to something else so i gave this one to my mum and got SE W595 instead but now i wanna swap back and my mum wont give it back!!! it is the best... buy it

5130 is a BRICK .. its nearly 15mm thick.
The beauty of the 5310 is that is very slim and light.

Its great. at first i use semence and it is very slow. then next year i bought it. now i am very happy because it"s verrrrry comfortable to use.

Yeah, rececption is very good.
Much better than my ny Sony Ericsson which can drop the signal in weaker areas ..

It is a very compatable mobile . it is too light that we forgot that it is really in our pocket. it is very slim and shiny . it is most look is for ladies

hello,
i can decide if i should buy a nokia 5310 or a sony ericsson w715, under Rogers Canada, i need something that is light and small, but has good reception and works in Europe and Middle Eastern Asia and of course North America, any recommendations? let me know thanks.

I've had this phone for 2yrs, but recently changed to a SE C901 ... I might go back to the 5310, I sooooo miss its size and lightness, its so unobtrusive in the pocket I often had to think where is it!
Dropped it lots - still worked fine.
never locked up
Used Sony bluetooth speakers at home with it ... works great, even the volume control. Like having a light remote in your hand.
Plus with an 8gb card a superb mujsic player.
I changed for two reasons:
Wanted a better camera (C901 has superb 5Mpix cam + Xeon flash .. same dimensions, but a few mm thicker and heavier). The cam on the 5310 is ... errr, not good. Especially since the lens glass slightly protrudes and gets scratched over time .. no lens cover like most phones :(
The SE has better bluetooth and interface for playing mujsic (auto pairs with bluetoth devives like speakes ...,the 5310 you have to pair each time).
The email support is lacking on the 5310, also the browers using Opera is OK but no auto rotate.
But OK for occasional use.
I really miss my 5310 ... if you want a very light tiny phone, with good texting features, and a music player ... buy it!
I havent seen a phone this light and thin anywhere else ... plus, hey, its a Nokia!!

i just updated the firmware on my nokia 5310.. but now it asks for the memory card password which i don't remember. is there some kind of way i can access my memory card again or retrieve the password?

i have this phone for 2 weeks now, then i care of it since i buy, but the only problem is its camera,, when i capture some image it takes more seconds to capture the image than other phones,,
anybody know about this? please answer me!
