jufri, 09 Jul 2008g. day mate, can anyone tell me, the meaning of new audioch... mored new audio chip means we'll get better audio quality and sound volume.

since we hav different tastes, budgets, likes, priorities, and lifestyles, choosing d right phone really boils down to our ultimate needs and preferences.

anyhow, let us say u prefer better camera (but can live with ancient camera orientation, i.e. portrait mode), a bit bigger screen, shake control over music and track id feature, GPS and geotagging of pics, a built-in accelerometer, better quality inbox earphones against Nokia (AFAIK, SE usually hav better ones included in d box - if u enjoy heavy bass), SE's A200 platform/UI, and d slick sliding form factor, u should definitely choose W760

            http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_w760-review-232p5.php

on d other hand, if u prefer a phone with symbian OS, particularly the S60 user interface, its flexibility and massive number of downloadable games, apps, true multi-tasking, better web browsing, video call support, camera flash, n-gage and landscape gaming and camera UI wd dedicated gaming/music keys, better compatibility wd ur network's video streaming services, say and play voice control to ur music library, message reader, speaker independent contact dialing, industry standard connectors (microUSB, 3.5mm audio jack) rather than proprietary connectors (e.g. pop port, fast port which is more likely to get loose), i assume an inferior quality inbox set of earphones vs SE's inboxed earbuds, particularly in producing bass but not in treble (nokia is known bout this, except for N91; so if u plan to buy 5320XM u should buy a good quality headset from sennheiser, A4Tech, etymotic, shure.. so u can really appreciate wat its dedicated audio chip is capable of delivering), and a simpler bar form factor, then u should buy 5320XM

            http://www.mobile-review.com/review/nokia-5320-en.shtml

bare in mind though, according to mobile-review, smape, to name a few, current XpressMusic phones generally hav better sound quality than current SE walkman phones, that is if u use good headsets, u can confirm it by using d same brand, model of headset and setting their respective equalizers at their best and finally playing exactly d same audio file. judging a music phone's sonic or sound quality, volume from its supplied headset is not d right thing to do in identifying wat phone scores better in overall sound quality.

to help u decide further which handset suits u, here's d juxtaposed specs of 5320XM and SE W760

            http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone2=2197&idPhone1=2348

good luck n i hop u'll enjoy ur new multimedia phone or shall i say, portable multimedia computer =)

btw, juz to round up, here's a nice TV ad of SE W760 and Nokia 5320XM

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9j2G_1qQX4

            enjoy

            PS
may i ask how much is d W760 currently in ur region? so i can hav an idea how much wl b d 5320XM be.. tnx

imran, 07 Jul 2008i am also unable to find where is the loudspeaker?and vetz:

speakers r located at d bottom right. u wl see from d pics here

note i mentioned speakers, coz apparently, mobile-review somewhat found two of em (i assume dey opened d 5320XM). d speakers r just located in one place, dat is at d bottom rightside

if u missed d video demo showing 5320XM, u may watch it at d link below. dat should giv us at least an idea how d speakers would sound lyk and of course, how d say n play feature works..

6220 is too expensive for me, so I prefer this for 6120c successor.

I like this phone. But now, I have already set my eyes on the 6220c. The only reason why I didn't consider the 6220c to be in my choices is the 2.5 mm connector. But since yesterday that I got a 2.5 - 3.5 mm adapter, it suddenly made a change on my choice. Hope that phone would be nice.
                              Anyway..
                              To Viperkid:
Any idea about the price of the 6220c in the Philippines??
Btw, I already saw the violet along with the black variant of the 6220c here and at last, I already saw the 5320XM in blue that stood beside the red and green color variants of the 5220 Xpress Music. The latter already has a price tag of PhP 8,990 here but it is still not commercially available though, while the two former handsets still don't have price tags. Any idea about the price tags of those two (most especially the 6220c)??

So anyone got one of these babies yet? Looks like its going to be quite a seller, its a true mid-range Music Smartphone, just hope its battery is as good as they claim it is, the current Music Smartphone Flagship (N81) has an amazing battery life, its little bro has got to have the same.
