this phone has great performance, unique look, nice sound, lots of feature inside. But i don't know why, my battery can't standby more than 3 days (it says the batery could stand by for 250 hours in 2G mode and 240 hours in 3g mode, which means it at least could standby in +- 10 days), and if i use for playing the music, it only last for about 4/5 hours.

The symbian phone is very helpful if you often use the third applications. A symbian phone is just equal to WinMo for me.
I also wait for new firmware. Mine is 4.13.

Pls someone tell me; which is bigger in display screen size btw Nokia 5320XM and Nokia 5310XM? I heard they are thesame despite the fact that its specs says that 5320 has 2.0" while 5310 has 2.1" screen. How true is this? Pls someone help me.

If you donot need a symbian phone, you can choose 5310 and you can save for money. 5310 runs on Nokia own OS. They are just little different and the features are basically same.
5630 vs 5320
The main points of 5630 are: WIFI, bigger display, new interface, faster processor (although I donot know how faster it is from 5320 and even new 5730), 3M camera, slim and tall design. If you donot need all of these, choose 5320 and save your money as well.
For charging the phone for the first time, there is no rule for Li-Ion/Li-Polymer battery. Some suggest that it is better to charge it for 8 hours for the first time and I follow this rule. After that, I charge it till the battery is full, not more than that.
You should not over-charge the battery for next charging.

I am buying this on Saturday, can anyone please tell me how I should give charge this for the first time (initial). I was told to charge for 2 hours and then one hour break and again for 2 hours. Is this the right way? please advise. Thanks so much. Cheers. JD

Hi,
I'm a Sri Lankan and I'm using this phone(Nokia 5320) from about 3 months by now. I'm very happy about the features of this phone and it's worth for the money i have spent for it.
But i got just one issue with this phone.That is , when i listening to the music using the headset. If i try to skip the music file using the dedicated music key or D-Pad key, the phone get stuck sometimes. I can't even switch off or do anything else at that moment. But if i remove the headset jack from the slot the phone runs normally and everything will be fine. I thought it happens because of the corrupted music files but i was wrong. It happens sometimes only.
Anybody has any idea about this issue?

Which must i buy? 5320xm or n70? i use phone to play mp3 music, surf internet, chat and download mp3 and video. 2mp camera i think enough for me. battery... doesn't metter...
