hi. i purchased this phone few days ago and i'm stil enjoying it. this morning i've made a foolishness: i took the microSD card out of the phone and i put it into my hp camera. when i've put it back in the phone i've observed that all aplications on memory card weren't working because the camera has changed the name of some folders. a i have a big apeal at you. if anyone can archieve the structure of the card and send it to me at this mail i'll be very thankfull. thanks.

This phone rocks, its hard as a rock. It was accidentally run over by a car and its still in one piece. My phone is almost a year and the keypad is still ok.

WARNING: "NEVER BUY THIS MODEL"
i have bought it 6 months ago and its keypad loosened just after 2months. After the hard struggle of 4 months i became successful to replace my keypad for Rs.2,000 (almost $35 brought from UK not available in whole country) which is a very big amount for just a replacement of keypad. Although it is a manufacturing fault but nokia isn't helping its customers at all in its so called warranty.... And also the battery timing is so poor that i have to charge it two times in a day. Just shame on NOKIA....

The 64Mb is NOT internal. It is a microSD flashcard that comes with the phone. I've personally bought a gigabyte one to mine.
The 5500 is the SMALLEST s60 out there. It tells you something. Also, the screen is, although only 208x208 pixels, a square which I totally dig. It's very sharp and bright, I love it.
Unlike many new Nokias, the keypad is plastic/rubbery which feels much better to type with. The connectors are also under a rubbery shield for protection. Quite handy, hopefully it won't come off after some time..
I wouldn't buy any other 3rd edition phone, it's so great! It's also much faster than most new E-series phones, too..

this phone is no good because it freezes up when sending SMS messages making it unusable until the SMS is send (can be around 5 mins)and the face plate starts to falling off after a small amount of time.

Not recommended to buy. Problem with network. Have sent for repair under warranty but not last long. Still no network.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!! iv had it now for 6 months and the keypad has practically fallen off! apparently it has happened to many other people with this phone! now looking for a new phone

I think while making this phone nokia has made a major mistake. The screen size is very small and font are very small.
Loudspeaker quality is good but the phone seems slow than usual s60 series phone(Even thoug its latest firmware)
