hi
from all nokia i had , this was the worst
wether proof? with keypad going out ...
allways with dust on the pop port , sometimes don´t have audio on left channel , change earfones , right channel , not working
with adaptation plug , for 3,5mm jack stereo
,audio is present on both channel ,
with the original command , sometines gives error message , on nokia service , after 2ª complain , they substitute hardware , stand by has improved , but popup port , continues on the same

When i first saw this phone -i loved it.
It's really well styled and apart from a couple of long winded routes to get to certain areas within the applications, -it's pretty easy to use too.
Sadly i think all that aside that this phone is now cack.
Ever since i've had it there has been an echo when talking.
When not in use -if you hold the phone to your ear it makes a buzzing/ humming/ charging type noise.
Sometimes in mid conversation it decides to switch to loud speaker all by itself and you can't switch back.
Half the time when i receive calls -the call stays open even after i have/ the caller has ended the call and i have to remove the battery to un-freeze it.
The 'Titanium' casing is thin and is already dented from one tiny drop. =It's no where near as protective as the previous bomb proof rubber Nokia's.
The rubber keypad is also crap as it has completely come away from the lower half of the phone and appears to be fixed in place by some kind of double sided sticky tape.
If the keypad where replacable -i think i could just about bear with the other faults that this phone has -but sadly i've got to find another robust phone to replace it.
Anyone know of any other decent bomb proof phones?
If you're gonna buyone -make sure that the buzzing thing isn't happening, and be preparred to carry it around in a large roll of bubble wrap.

does this phone have stopwatch or cornometr?
if yes where is it ?????
mainly it is good phone but the problem is its keypad.
NOKIA must do something for this problem

i have problem with keypad too
but warranty don't fix it for me
and i have to pay about 50$ to change all cover include keypad

dis fone is very bad ...very bad means...i have bought dis fone for 9000qr &widin 1day its keypad came out nxt when i tried 2 pur mini sd ...no place 2 inser that mini sd card...i have sold it for 2000qr...very loss 4me

I could use this phone for only one month. Key pad peeled off very wieredly. No way to fix it. I used super glue & sold it with 6000 tk loss. This is a f*****g set.

I am from Iran and
The keypad of my 5500 also came out and it's not covered by warranty.
But I found a shop that change the all cover included keypad with 550000rls means 60-70$ (dollar).
can someone help me ?

Haven't nokia recalled this phone yet?
Is terrible my phone is functioning well but with no keypad just after 4 month of usage.
Please nokia, do something about this!!!!
Atleast u can send us a new keypad with a better glue.

how will i use the zip? everytime i download games, i receive it with zip. does this fone has an unzip? i had a hard tym downloading games. despite of its limited softwares, i cannot enjoy it thats why I'm just downloading games.

I've had this phone for over 3 months, and it's working just as well as when I bought it. It's already survived a couple of drops. Very happy with this phone.

hi. i purchased this phone few days ago and i'm stil enjoying it. this morning i've made a foolishness: i took the microSD card out of the phone and i put it into my hp camera. when i've put it back in the phone i've observed that all aplications on memory card weren't working because the camera has changed the name of some folders. a i have a big apeal at you. if anyone can archieve the structure of the card and send it to me at this mail i'll be very thankfull. thanks.

The keypad of my 5500 also came out but its covered by warranty so, I got mine fixed free of charge.

aaa- shut up you all this is a phone that have many nice devices and normal price as for me i think its a nice choice for people the has a bit of money but wants to be cool so its 80% of all humans on its freek planet... be cool ... stay as human being...

Very nice phone, it serves its purpose as a sports phone ie reading text messages when you are running or when your hands are tired up. It also has a sports diary where you can keep count of calories burnt.However, my rubber keypad is comming off - I thought this phone was waterproof.
