I am interested in "reading up text" function of this mobile. Any other mobiles of Nokia can do this ? or we can install this funciton into other mobiles ?

Hi,
I have been using Nokia 5500 for about a week now, i have noticed that the Battery Life is very Poor !! the talk time is hardly 80-90 mins,
Please advise if everyone is facing similar problem, if not then i better get my phone checked by nokia.

how'd u replace the keypads??.. did u glue em urself.. or the nokia service guys do it for u?..

a very nice phone.... excellent features..but the only problem are the key pads.. they keep peeling off.. in two months i have already replaced the keypads thrice! nokia should do something abt the keypads

it is true i have been using this phone for 1 month and the key pad peeled off. i cant believe it i wanted an outdoor active phone this one needs a recall!!! hope the guys from nokia consider this comment.

really nice phone.. excellent features.. bad points-> the screens small.. internal memory's pretty small.. doesnt that act as the RAM or something?.. and my keypads starting to unglue!!#@%$..

i had the other 2 sports phones they were fine just got the 5500 it's so slow and to make matters worse the key pad and front have come off... i'm so not happy i bought this phone for £200

U can do what u want whit this phone! U can install a lot of apps because ot has symbian OS... check out symbian.com

everybody who has 5100 or 5140 and is planning to upgrade for 5500 do not do that.I did,and I regret a lot.It is not "sporty phone" it is piece of s**t. It is so much anger in me becouse of these phone.

I bought this phone and I am very disapointed with this junk.I had 5100 before and that was a sport phone.I am very very angry every time I hold it in my hand.It cost me $400 but I think that I will throw it against the wall anytime soon.It is just unbelieveble.

anyone know how to install the 5300 dictionary on the 5500? It's the only chinese english dictionary out with pinyin and english.

themes for other Nokia handsets probably wouldn't cover the entire screen because they're made for displays that are 176x208 in size. the difference in screen size (this one's 208x208) probably explains that problem.

even n80 themes works
but where files receive by infrared go ?
and dam nokia do a firmware with power sound
