Does anyone know if this phone has different message tones for caller groups? you can set different ring tones for nokia caller groups but seems to be hard to find one that you can also change the message tone...

i want to buy the 5500 i really like it but i just want to know if the sound is good and if there is any distation or not clear sound and can the phones memory how much can it recive and store

i have the 5140.love throwing the phone around ,using it on the beach no care about the wet sand,drinks spilled on it etc.the durability makes feel me feel comfortable using my mobile at certain occasions which usually involve a lot of fun.thats why i will buy 5500 for a replacement.not so excited about about the battery and the cap getting loose(hope nokia sales a replacement solo).

hi guys i m planning to buy the 5500 i like almost everything abt the phone but need to know y isnt the wall paper displayed on the entire screen ( like 6270 ) and i m desperate to load good themes there are no themes for 5500 on zedge, please tell me which other phone theme can be applied to 55oo... thanks in advance.. hope i dont regret buying this phone..

u have to install the .sis application... u can't view it... get pc suite and install it thru that.. and the phone costs somewhere around 250-300euros.. got mine at a best buy of 230.. whee!!.. and the volume is cos the headset they've provided isnt all too great.. get one of ur own.. should sound good then.. anyway u cant compare it with the ipod and such..

I received a .sis file by bluetooth.
I can't see .sis file in my phone.
what application do I install?

I have 5500 sport
but msgreader & radio not work.
because the field of language (in msgreader) is blank.
and its list (language field) is blank.

i bought N5500 Sport a couple of days ago. i must say it is a good phone, because it has right about everything you could want from a mobile phone, and everything is working well.
it's a phone i bought with ALL my money savings, after a week of reading the reviews on this device.
i have only 2 dislikes : the volume in the headphone is poor. the second one is about the plastic used on the bottom of the device, that covers the power and hands'free connectors. i'm affraid it will fall of very quickly ...
anyway : it's a very very good phone. i recommend it.

2 problems
-how can i save .x files received from bluetooth or infrared
_my sound trough headphones is not so loud like n-gage for example is not loud what can i do?
mp3 hear good but not loud through my headphones

in reguard to the keypad, mine unglued itself as mentioned by others. i gave it to nokia who said it was the first time they encountered the problem! they fixed it under warrenty though

Yeah guys this mobile is very cute and handy and it looks gr8 with its new technology where the mobile reads ur sms and also it says the caller name while driving.....its amazing guys.......

i gotta couple o N80 themes from symbian themes... they work on 5500.. havent tried the others as yet.. google it man
