I have brought the phone some day before.But i have a great problem.Its charge quality very bad.I am suffer for that.All is well but also one problem.how can i slove this problem?please anyone infrom me.

Try "Audaciouz v3" CFW. They have a Iphone4 Homescreen. The cfw's size is like 11mb only. Thats what I use right now.

the only problem I found in this c6 original firmware is the music quality seems to be downgrade, more distorted and pink noise are more visible. . :l and the QWERTY switch to landscape

Can anyone give me a tutorial to install iphone homescreen.
note : I am using c6 v11 firmware in my nokia 5530
I've got the necessary files but don't knw how to use it.
Is the iphone homescreen worth it?

All he did was just use 'rompatcher', so if this thing actually works then we could use a kick in processing power only when we need, and when we don't we could downgrade the speed to 250 may be..haha...and offcourse we need to follow through the guys' experience before doing them ourself..

I read about this over clocking experiment but do you really think that's a good idea...? Because we don't have giant processors to manage such things... These are just mobile processors with lots of limitations... That's the first matter... My second point is the battery life.. Battery life so much depends upon the processor speed... We already have a poor battery back up in our 5530.. When it's over clocked the situation will be worse... Don't you think...? And how about the problems like excessive heat etc... Pressure on hardware will definitely affect the durability of the product... Very intersting fact you may want to notice... Most of the complaints against Samsung galaxy s9000 which has a great 1 ghz processor power & a 1500 mah good battery are about the poor battery life and poor performance...! That's kind of very funny but a very good examale for my argument... (super powered processor will never be battery fiendly and it will not necessarily represent a great performance jump either...) I think that's exactly why nokia has equipped its great nokia N8 with only 680 mhz processor... Nokia is not stupid my friend...

I'm sorry to hear about these hangs etc in your new experiment... Now waiting for your comments on new experiment... Actually i think you better go for a less modified firmware edition because more modifications mean more possible troubles... And you're an advanced user now so you can manually handle performance issues by using third party applications like 'Jbak taskman', 'ramblower','killme'....
Today is a holiday for us but i couldn't help myself of visiting our beloved Gsmarena 5530 page... I'm typing these on my mobile...
We're waiting for your comments regarding new custom firmware experiment... Good luck brother...

I'm very happy to know all my friends are successfully flashing their mobiles... In your case the only problem is the lack of Turn to on qwerty key board... Right...? I guess you've used the original C6 firmware prepared for 5530 (probably by the great PNHT) without any modification... You better use a modified one i'd saw... (specially a hacked one with rompatcher pre installed)
Anyway we can flash our mobiles as many times as we like and that's a good thing... Nokia, symbian os and the people who're doing great things with that wonderful os... Cheers to them all...
One more thing brother... Nokia N8 is probably going to be expensive than i thought... So as you said C6-01 or C7 would be my next mobile... (but not so soon i'm sure...) Specially after reading so many articles about this so called 'nokia clear black display' which is superior than samsung super-AMOLED and even apple's retina display i'm very eager now... And besides C6-01 and C7 supports usb on the go too... What else we should expect...?

I'm getting annoyed on the C6-01 cfw. It always gets my phone hang up and doesn't respond at all so I changed a new cfw on my Lunamaria and now she is ok. I love the Iphone4 HS on my Lunamaria xD.
I think its just me who gets hang on C6-01 cfw. I'm still waiting for CSUD and Tristan if they get the same issue as mine. :((

As you said C6-01 is a symbian 3 device which has not even released yet... So this so called C6-01 firmware extension to 5530 is not really based upon it... I read the whole description and got to know that this extension is actually based upon 5530 V31 and C6 V11 which are being the latest firmware releases for both models...
However now i'm again confused because of our brother nikko's comments upon hanging etc... (i already downloaded JAF tool and CFW files but now in a dilemma...) Let's wait some more time i would say... I'm reluctant to go for this specially because my hacked 5530 is working damn smoothly and i'm completely happy with its current performance... But that doesn't say i have stopped discovering... Will see friends...

I use C6-01 cfw but my phone always gets hang, I don't know if the others experiencing this or its just me. But I changed my cfw now into "Audacious v3" cfw. :)

c6 on 5530 . . .Wao "marvolus". . .But is it legal? And i think nokia should heir these hackers to improve their user interface and other speed issues.

After reading all of ur comment i am in a big dilemma cuz people are saying that they flashed their phone with c6-01 firmware!!!! But isn't c6-01 symbian 3 smartphone?

hi. Ok its a really neat and decent phone but sometimes or most times i'm not able to download stuff from internet for e.g mobile9.com and its basically wallpapers. Please explain why this happens? Much thanks.
