is a COMIC BOOK READER app for nokia 5530? because you can now install a comic book reader app in 5800. just want to know if you can do the same with these phone. if so can you please post the link. tnx

About the questions you want to ask, here is my answers. :)

How about the Music Quality?
Music quality has improved.

Is ROMPatcher starts automatically or do we have to start it manually each time the mobile restarts...?
When you enable the patches and add them to auto, it will auto start even you turn off and on your phone. It will stay enabled and auto.

How much free space in phone memory available...?
Mine got 70mb exact. :)

Are you really sure you got 60 MB free RAM after fresh reboot...?
Mine is 58mb to be exact when I did a fresh reboot. :)

Did you try installing some unsigned applications just to check whether the phone is really hacked or not...?
Yea, I installed a unsigned app on my Lunamaria. :

Did you try c2z and KastorUI theme effects with ROMpatcher...?
I tried it and it works. :0

What happens when you swipe the home screen...?
When you swiped it you will get another empty homescreen, use Widgetizer on it. :)

Can we uninstalled those pre-installed applications..?
I didn't try it. But I think we can use UninstallKing to uninstall those preinstalled apps. :)

Any bugs...?
Its the latest version of C6-01 cfw. Its bug FREE. :)

Good heavens man that C6-01 firmware is ALREADY HACKED...! and it has pre installed ROMpatcher too...! After reading the whole document I have following questions to ask...

** How about the Music Quality? (Not the volume.. I mean the Quality)

If you installed the C6-01 cfw and you want to go back to v31 fw. Just download the v31 original firmware files from nokia using NAVIFIRM. But you cannot downgrade your v31 fw to v30 or below because it will just brick your phone and it may not work as well. And if you want to get back to v31, you cannot hack it anymore because flashing is reformatting the phone memory and installing an new firmware system files.

You will get like 58-60mb of free RAM when you installed C6-01 cfw on 5530. Here is the link, you can see the specs on C6-01 cfw for 5530.

That sounds great brother... Please confirm that whether C6-01 can be hacked or not.. It's really important...

And one thing more... How about moving back to older firmware of 5530..? Let's say we want V31 or V20 or 5530 own firmware again, is it easier to get or is it difficult..?

Just in case if we bored about C6-01....

How does our poor 5530 battery respond to C6-01 firmware...? Most probably C6-01 firmware is heavier than that of 5530 because of home screen widgets etc... Also can you tell me how much free RAM do you really get after a fresh reboot...?

Successfully installed the C6-01 cfw on my Lunamaria. I'm so loving the user interface. And my phone memory got 70mb free memory. And my phone got faster and the kinetic scrolling is so smooth now. And the music player sounds has increased. :)

Thanks for your reply but I don't agree when you say "commonly TTPod 3.70 is not working in our phone" because I'm using that version which is far better than V 3.50 in terms of interface, Music Quality as well as Stability... Normally Update error comes because you've already have V 3.50 or you've had it earlier time... But if you have completely uninstall it, then you can of course install V 3.70 without any problem... (In hacked as well as unhacked phones you can install TTpod 3.70 signed version)

(I'm only copying and pasting one of my previous answers on 'what is hacking' on this very forum)

Well... Lots of people who're using Nokia smart phones don't know anything about 'hacking'

It's not because it's so complicated.. (Well.. it's not) It's because some people are bit lazy to discover thus they don't find what they should have...

OK.. This could be the 20th time I'm going to describe what 'hacking' is... But this time I'm going to do it very briefly.. (anyone interested, can search in google and find more...)

** Hacking is just a software installation and it doesn't do anything related to hardware... and the software changes are not permanent either..

** It's completely reversible procedure so anyone has nothing to worry...

** It does some changes to certain 'locked' or rather 'restricted' files in Symbian OS which prevent you doing certain things.. (For an example, if you have ever received the error messages 'certificate error', 'constraints by the certificates', 'certificates have been expired' etc... then that is because the default restrictions of Symbian OS...)

** You hack your mobile means you remove those restrictions... (rather it allows you to be capable of removing those restrictions if you want..) For an unhacked phone, you can't remove those restrictions what so ever..

** Most of people who have heard about this 'hacking' are afraid about it because it's not a good name..! So I suggest you not to get afraid by the name itself.. I know it's a weird name.. That's why I want to change that name as 'brightening'

** There are ways of hacking and most popular way is using 'HelloOX2' software.. (You can find it in internet...)

** Some Symbian Smart mobiles can't be hacked.. Some mobiles can be hacked but with certain firmware only... (For an example, Nokia 5530 V 20 can be hacked but V 30 or V 31 can't be...)

OK... I think that's enough for a beginning... Now let me describe what are the advantages of this so called 'hacking'

** You can install almost any relevant Symbian software without getting any error message (Without any need of signing of course)

** You can view hidden folders (system folders) and you can edit the files inside of them

** You can use ROM Patcher patches to achieve wonderful things
(Eg: enabling disabling features like Bluetooth, Wifi etc... enabling disabling 'Settings', 'Phonebook', 'SMS' etc.., Removing the 'beep' when recording calls, Removing camera shutter sound...)

** You can achieve very nice theme effects using C2z and KastorUI patches in RomPatcher. (Effects like on SE Vivaz and Satio)

Very briefly... You can do almost anything which you previously thought you can't achieve with Symbian OS due to it's restrictions...

But ONLY...
If you're Keen to do it.. and Want to do it... and lucky enough to have a hackable phone with a hackable firmware...

naoj here... commonly V3.70 is not working on our phone i've encountered this problem but i have a resolution for you. you can download instead the previous version of TTPOD V3.51 it will works the same as 3.70 and you can view the songs lyrics as well there im using it by myself.
you can have thAT TTPOD 3.51 you can also search it to google . com
