No hard feelings brother... Please... We're here to help you guys... So there is nothing wrong when you want to make sure the thing you're going to try.. I'd say that's a good thing indeed...
However, by reading the user comments below the post (the link I have given) you can get the information on past experienced people... So that you can make sure whether it works or not before you're going to try it.. Right..? (There are user comments for 147 pages...! You've got a lot to read....!)
And our dear brother Nikko has already tried it and made sure it works like a charm.. and I know him from a long time and he wouldn't lie... (I personally believe my friends a lot...)

i have a question for u. will the ... morehi brother,
basically you have 12 mth warranty from the date you had activated you your phone.
if you'll bring it in nokia center under this months then just tell them that your phone suddenly got bricked (not functioning anymore) tell them no nothing brother, do not let them know that you are experimenting over your phone. :)
if it's out of warranty, what you should do say you are in the philippines is to prepare 500 Pesos for repair.

i have a question for u. will the warranty void if anything gone wrong or i messed up anything while installing c6 firmware on my 5530.and if it voids then what should i do then.please reply as soon as possible

I'm sorry for your troubles brother... I'm also pretty sure the problem is not with the songs or photos of your mobile... (I don't know what's wrong with these Nokia care center people to imagine such a thing..!)
Actually I don't see any practical reason why you should go to a 'Care Center' like that... However when you have the warranty it's good but I think before that you should have tried what you can at home... (That won't take much time...)
** First back up your contacts & personal stuff like sms and calendar entries (if any)
(takes only 3 minutes maximum)
** Copy your mp3 and images collection to somewhere safe in your computer.. (for about 3 GB stuff that would take about 10 minutes I hope)
** Format the memory card.. (Takes 1 minute)
** Hard reset your mobile (you know the code... Right..?)
(takes only 5 - 10 minutes)
** After hard reset is completed back up your contacts and Music/images to your files.. (Remember... Nothing else.. Only music, images and contacts, sms etc.. No any other files..)
(Will take about 15 - 20 minutes)
Now you see... You have wasted two damn weeks with Nokia care center for something you could have done at home within just 45 minutes...! And that WORKS...!
I'm pretty sure above procedure will surely work... but when installing apps, please take maximum care whether you're following the description exactly as it's said and follow the user comments too...
refer my posts posted before...
Without any application I'm pretty sure you'll be completely happy with your mobile's performance and all... But with applications it'll be a mess.. (Only for you I'm afraid.. Because I've got 179 applications installed in my mobile which didn't gave me any headache since I bought it...!)

dear brother Nuwan and Nikko,
i already got Francesca last night from the care center. it was her 2nd repair actually. it's taking quite some time before it totally start up. and the stripes in the screen appears again just like when Francesca got bricked.
this time i asked for reinstalling v31 and format my phone memory and memory card.
i asked them(nokia) which of my files could possibly causing this problem. they weren't sure about it, she said it could be one of my songs or my pictures. i said i dont receive songs via bluetooth, i connect my phone via usb for that. so she advised me not to restore all the files that i got in Francesca before. i objected(because i believe it wasnt my photos or mp3s but the application that i installed so this was what i had in mind) so i will give it a week to monitor Francesca.. without saving anything from my pc to my memory card. then i will restore via usb my files by type(i mean restore all the songs on the 1st week, then monitor the performance, maybe photos on the second week, monitor and so on..
what can you say about it?
i want all that applications again.. do you think it would still be ok if i put them back to my Francesca??
and would you know which and what is my problem right here?

is there a digital comic book viewer app for nokia 5530? because you can install one on a nokia 5800. im just wondering if you could do the same with 5530. and is there a working DIVX app for 5530 or 5800?

You are the man really... You have done it greatly... I am now watching your photos in facebook... They look great... 4 icons in a row... That's fantastic...! I'm definitely going to try it... but I need some more time to collect all the software I want to install etc.. I think every software we had in 5530 V31 can be installed in this version too.. Right..?
However still I have two queries...
** How about the battery life with the new firmware...? (Specially when C6 has 1320 mAh battery while our 5530 has only got 1000 mAh. and there are complaints too...)
** How about media bar..? Is it working...? (I'm talking about the xpress music media bar when you click on the top corner of the mobile... As long as I know C6 doesn't have media bar so I'm just wondering whether it's working now or not... But that's not a big deal even if it's not working...)
