could anyone teach me on how to install
C6 Firmware for my 5530? i have finished downloading it and i simply dont know what to do about it.:|
i cant wait for answers..please help me.:)
i really want to use that firmware as soon as possible.

sorry sara i really cant get what you are... moresorry i didnt expalain until now but what i meant is that when i press on the theme "by double clicking" it accesses it for a few moments enough that i can read the list:general and menu.., but it then goes back by itself as if i pressed back so i have no time to even press any of the list!!
i want to change the theme and i cant help me please:)

cyber-shot under dog, 17 Sep 2010Ok ok I installed hellox 2.00(3) again in my mobile it says... morehellox does get installed in v31 but it's just not able to 'ROOT' our Drives (or whatever it's called)
i too really want to try out those theme effects, especially 'lightening and raining/snowing' effects, but Flashing CFW is a TABOO for me..
Right now i'm using spb shell with iphone 4 like mod and i'm satisfied so far..one thing that bugs me is that it eats about 15Mb RAM and i'm left with only 30mb at RAM- but 30mb has proved enough so far too..I am happy that it doesn't eat as much battery as it eats RAM..

Urgh! I thought it was removed. . :| ok so where do I get this dejavu and these so called theme effects :))))

No brother.. HelloOX2 still hasn't released new version for V30 of 5530... I know that's very unfortunate but it seems you have to wait for some more time... (I kind of feel that there will not be such update even in future..)
How about a Custom firmware which is already hacked...? I haven't tried one but have read so much about them.. (Of course positive comments)
By having a custom firmware you get following advantages too..
* Already hacked phone (You don't have to hack afterwards.. with firmware itself your phone is hacked and have so many working patches too...)
* Lots of pre-installed 3rd party software (They usually include very good 3rd party software inbuilt with the custom firmware)
* Significant performance gain (As those custom firmware are made aimed for the best performance - removing lots of unnecessary processes and all - there could be a considerable performance gap... For an example I get about 45 MB free RAM just after rebooting my phone.. But I've read about phones which have custom firmware are gaining as high as 60 MB free RAM after rebooting..)
* Internet browser cache and other temporary directories are moved to E:/ (memory card) in most of custom firmware thus increasing the phone memory a lot..
Followings are the disadvantages of custom firmware,
* Those are not invented by Nokia... So the reliability is questionable.. So you should use one at your own risk..
* Still there can be bugs and errors... (and obviously you can't go to Nokia care center asking for help...!)
* Installing procedure of custom firmware is bit complicated.. You have to install particular software packages in your computer and flash your mobile.. This is risky I don't have to tell you...
So there are pros and cons... If my phone is not hacked I would have definitely go for a custom firmware... Because I strongly NEED a hacked phone... But that's my personal preference... After all it's your choice my friend as you're going to do it to your mobile...
Please google for more details on how to install custom firmware in your Nokia Symbian etc...

Nokia Software Updater is included on the PC Suite CD or download one at nokia website. Over the air is you were you update your phone using WiFi.

Just connect your mobile to your PC via data cable... (Selection connectivity mode as 'PC Suit') You must have 'Nokia PC Suit' and 'Nokia Software Updater' installed in your computer... (If you don't have them, download them from Nokia website...)
Your computer must have a good internet connection... (Because sometimes it'll take hours to complete the update procedure if the internet download speed is too low)
Open Nokia software updater and continue with firmware update... Then it'll ask whether to update your firmware... If there is an update available then you can proceed with it... If there is no update then it'll notice 'There is no update for your model at the moment... Reinstall the latest update?' something like that... Then you can say yes and proceed with it...
But be careful 'NOT TO INTERFERE' the process/mobile until it's ended...
