Just listen to our brother kkkabirkkk because I think he has a point there...
Don't use Nokia software updater in your computer... It may hard reset your mobile which will loose your hacking forever... Go to a Mcdonalds or somewhere like that which has Wifi free then update your firmware over the air...
So after all, that's the reason why NSU downlods huge file when updating the firmware... It flashes the phone and do the update...

When installing RAMblow you don't have to worry about anything... But when using it you make sure 'open 4 all' patch in ROMpather is disabled... Because those two have complications with each other.. (Never put 'Auto' to 'Open 4 all' patch... Other patches are OK with RAMblow...
Actually in this very forum I have advised to do this and that before a firmware update in my previous posts... But now I don't think we have to be that careful with that... Because since Nokia has 'User data preservation' thing bundled with their firmware updates, I don't even bother to back up my private data...
If you can update Over the Air, that'll be faster because it only downloads a small file... But if you do it via computer, it may take a longer time as it downloads a huge file... (The reason why is bit strange but that's how it is...)
So good luck with your updates brother... (Don't hard reset the mobile before or after the update as your phone is now hacked... I think you already have heard it several times... Right..?)

Gud to see that u hav been able to hack da phone brother....Still hav u encountered any probs yet after installin apps in ur francesca....well i hav encountered one....so can u guyz help me....recently i encountered an error which pops up every time i try to save any number to contacts or when i go to contacts.....It reads "System error (-1)". I don't get it.
Do you think any of this might be causing da problem: slide unlock, threaded SMS, voxtrack voice recorder, total recall v4.01, video tone buddy, etc. And Secondly, what is NSU bro? I'm quite confused with it and i also intend to update my firmware? Should i take it the Nokia care centre or update through computer via da nokia software updater?

@jett : you could do it via NSU, and by chance if you brick your phone then there's our good-old-generous NOKIA CARE and our almighty WARRANTY, they'll give you a new one. but this happens to only 1 mis-fortunate among 1000 other happy-never-bricked-phone-while-updating-via-NSU guys.. just look at 1000 other people you who own the same phone and pray that one of them have already bricked their phone..lol!!

i have just buy the nokia 5530, i have installed the opera browser but unzble to open the website of http://allied.direct.abl.com.pk . whenevr i go to open the site always its mobile version open instead of PC site. doeas anybody tell me the solution of this?

hi there brother Nuwan,
i haven't installed RAMblow yet.. and i consider your posts about it so i look forward to have it in my Francesca this night. do you have some more advice before i install it? i mean, do i have to disable/enable any program?..
another brother i am going to update my firmware tomorrow, any advice before the update?
i cant do update over the air because i dont have wifi.. so what im gonna do is connect my Francesca to my computer and have it updated there. i just dont know which of the two is better via pc suite or Nsu like what brother Nikko have advised..
anyways il be also needing his help so hear from you two soon.
any advice? must haves, must dos and donts before the update?
and is there a better and faster way of backing up?
