Sometimes what you said can happen after a firmware update... Just wait for some time and try to refresh the Music library (in Music player)... It'll work..
Or you may restart your phone and try it again... For me the same thing happened and after about 48 hours when I refresh the Music library it worked... But until then refreshing didn't work at all...

You may hard reset your phone if you want default settings... But that will delete everything (contacts, sms etc...) and restore the original settings with original software.. (It'll bring your phone back to the day where you bought it..)
Just enter following code on your dial pad..
*#7370#
and when it asks for security code this is the default one if you haven't changed it...

Sup all 5530 users. It seems everyone is loving the 5530 like me. Our friend "Nuwan" is a great help to us and CSUD (Cyber Shot UnderDog) too. The apps that our friend Nuwan recommended to us are awesome. :))
@CSUD - I added you at last. I wanna know some of your headset recommendations. I hope you could add me soon when you have a free time.

There is a software called 'pencil key' and I think it does the job... However I don't use it... So I can't comment on that further... You may find it in google by searching 'pencil key application for 5800' (Searching for 5800 applications always does work for 5530 too...)

I'm glad that you have done your homework well enough... However it's pretty strange why OPDA takes that much time to give your certificate and key... Because so far I have done the same for several phones and I have been given the two files very quickly.. Last time I took those for my sister's phone and it didn't take more than 24 hours...! I don't know why for you it's taking this much of long time... (However if you saw 'applying' then that's it... You better wait some more time... But can you please check the information you uploaded...? Whether they are correct or not... Because this delay is pretty strange...)

i would suggest that you try applying for a certificate again.
to jeri: try removing your memory card while the phone is off> turn it on without the card and insert while its on.then reset your phone. this works when you get probs with the card
to mimi3: unfortunately no. marking several files is a real drag in symbian phones. each time you have to do : option, mark,mark this item. if you make an error you have to go all over again(sigh im nostalgic of the time when marking was so easy on my k610i long ago)
to Naj: go to a nokia care center(if there is one where you live). maybe you got a faulty phone

I am not able to send msg on my mobile (5530Xpress)! I can only receive msg. Already checked with my local operator, my messenger centre is ok, it has something to be done with the phone itself, but i dont know what!Its been 3 months that i have my nokia 5530...
It was ok before, may be some settings, i dont know! If someone can advise...plzzzz :-)

I got the unsigned version of helloOX2 n downloaded the SIGNSIStool from the opda site itself! :)
so jus still waitin .....

Dear all friends in GsmArena,
Yesterday I had a chance to have a time with an E75 of one of my friend and I was surprised to know how poor the Sound Quality of that phone compared to our Brilliant 5530...! E75 is a great phone with almost all the things included in a single pack... But when it comes to Music.. It can not even come close to 5530....
First I though it was just because its Head Set... Then I used mine... But still sound was horrible... Then my friend wanted to use 'Bass Booster' in his E75 and it gave horrible bass like 'tapping on your eardrum' But 5530 delivers smooth and very natural Bass even without 'Bass booster' activated...!
So my friend had to accept.. Nokia has given the Name 'Xpress Music' with a Meaning...!

Brother... You don't need certificate & key files if you can get a Signed version of HelloOX2... All the things you do with Certificate and Key files with the help of 'Signtool.exe' is for getting a 'Signed HelloOX2' out of 'Unsigned HelloOX2'... I thought you have already figured that out...!
