my 5530 always hung i just bought it 2 weeks ago :(
is there any way or software i could install to prevent such problems?

        its a very good phone the most interesting thing is that its screen is very close to capacitive touch screen but in specifications it is mentioned resistive but it is one step up to the the resistive i love it very much

          nokia 5530 express music is a very bad phone.. dont buy it. its such a cheap phone. i purchaased it in april, such a cheap phone it is. so girls n boys i personally suggest u dont buy it. i already went 13times to nokia care centre but my phone is not working well, even battery back up is so poor, i changed my battery 3 times but still its not working properly. so dont buy such a cheap phone.

                    Yes... My sisters 5800 is not hacked... Actually when I bought it, it already had V50 installed... So no luck what so ever... If your friend's 5800 is an older one which has V30 or older then he is lucky enough to hack his.. After hacking he can update his firmware without loosing the hacked mobile..

                    Follow the instructions then he can do that...

                    However even though my sister's mobile is not hacked... I have installed so many applications in it too.. (After signing them...) Only thing is, it requires considerable time and patience... She insisted me 'I want that app and this app' just by looking at my phone, so I had to install them...!

                    But I couldn't install all of them... For an example, I couldn't get 360ting player work in 5800 after signing and installing it.. But in my hacked 5530, it works like a charm... There is a list of applications which can't be installed in unhacked mobiles.. But luckily most of the applications can be installed in unhacked phones too BUT only after signing...

                      i asked you about it in favor of a friend brother...
                      :)
                      he has a 5800, and he is also among those people who doesn't really care whether his phone's software is not updated. but after few explanations and sharing he's really2 more than willing of hacking his phone. so you're not sure if he can hack his phone? that's alright brother.

                          Yes... Obviously all the application which support Nokia 5530 also support 5800 without any problem... This fact remains the same for instructions on hacking 5800 as well... But I don't know whether you will be able to hack it... (specially when you have a unhackable firmware installed...)

                          I think 5800 V30 is the last hackable firmware... Later came V40, V50 or latest V51 are not hackable... Nokia 5530 V20 is hackable... But V30 or V31 are not hackable...

                          By the way, I'm wondering whether you've bought a 5800...!

                            I think you're kkkabirkkk... If so.. Yeah... I installed the latest version from the original developer... (1.04) But he says still it has certain bugs to be fixed... I'm looking forward for more stable another version... (With bit more options like fixed positions 'enable' so that we don't move our widgets accidentally...)

                                In my nokia5530 when i activate music one side speaker did not work why? i did not receive stereo widening? what happen to my phone? who many spekars are in this cell?

                                  my pare here also has a 5800 and he is amazed in all my ideas regarding the phones(5530 and 5800), features, hacking, 3rd party applications etc...he understands that hacking will not damage the phone and he's dead serious that he wants to do it in his mobile and install tons of applications from dotsis.
                                  so we wanna know if we can use your posted 5530 hacking instructions for his 5800 and use hello0x2(if i am not mistaken) as a hacking tool..

                                  and another brother, can we also install all the 5530 3rd party apps that you used in his 5800? since, resolution is the same but bigger screen do you think the apps for 5530 will still function well in 5800?
